I was going to make this about the characters, but I'm too lazy and if you've played/watched/ or kept up with the game you should pretty much know the characters. Raibaru will not be in this story as I wrote the first chapter before Yandere Dev revealed her and yet again I'm too lazy to go back and add her in. I might do a character chapter later, but most likely not.
If anyone actually reads this or the story this is just kinda an explanation of what I was thinking for the story; this chapter will go though the weeks and how the rivals are eliminated wither its being killed, befriended, matched, fired/expelled, or 'spared' without too many details. I know the male rivals was an April fool's joke by Yandere-Dev a couple of years ago, but I just loved the idea.

It's starts off with the female rivals, but after the last rival something happens and she wakes up in the real world. The concept I have is that the world we are in is like a simulation kinda like avatar (the long ass movie) and after we die we wake up in the real world. In this case when Ayano wakes up she is now in the world with the male rivals.
After Ayano feels an emotion she doesn't lose it unless she's gone from Senpai for a long period of time so she won't be so mono-toned. Each week she is going to have at least one positive interaction with Taro this idea is from gdviolet's comic on Tumblr the one bellow.

I thought it was a such a cute idea in this book the interactions are not going to be at the end of the week, but kinda all over and sometimes more than once a week.
The story starts with Ayano the vast majority of the story is going to be her POV. Week 1 she bumps into Taro Yamada a.k.a Senpai she starts to feel something shortly after she meets rival #1. Osana Najimi who is talking well more like yelling at Taro.
She gets a message from an unknown number saying they want to "help" her get Taro and that they want Osana to suffer you probably know who it is. Osana is spared in a way. Week 2 with rival #2. Amai Odayaka she is going to be befriended I just can't kill the little cinnamon roll.
Week 3 with rival #3. Kizana Sunobu she is going to be killed I don't know how I want to kill her its either going to be a play about Romeo and Juliet where she'd get poisoned or about Marie Antoinette where she gets beheaded so which should I do. Week 4 with rival #4. Oka Ruto who will befriended and matched I just couldn't kill her either she's one of my favorites. Week 5 with rival #5. Asu Rito I haven't decided if she should be killed or somewhat spared like Osana.
Week 6 with rival #6. Muja Kina she is going to be fired or framed possibly both. Week 7 with rival #7. Mida Rana she's going to be brutally murdered. Week 8 with rival #8. Osoro Shidesu she is going to be challenged and because she is prideful she's not going to back down from a challenge. She will live and be used later on.
Week 9 with rival #9. Hanako Yamada she will either be expelled, befriended, or matched. Last, but not least week 10 with rival #10. Megami Saikou for her I liked the idea that Megami didn't like Taro romantically, but only said she had a crush on him so that Ayano will go after her and potentially get caught.
Megami's plan backfires and she suffers the worst fate her death is more brutal and elaborate than the other rivals. After Megami's death Ayano will wait one week before confessing to Senpai in order for things cool down and to take the suspicion off of her. Week 11 on Friday she confesses and well shit goes down.
She wakes up in the hospital, but it's not the same world this where concept comes to play. In the hospital room are the male rivals with someone else and she freaks out. Too much is happening at once and she passes out again. That's what I have for now after all this goes down the story will continue with her and the male rivals.
