A Way Out: Part 2

This is gonna be harder than I thought. I can't keep going on. I'm gonna run out of chakra soon. I need to end this fast. He jumped over his mud wall. His sword was in his hand. He rushed towards me. I need to do fatal damage. I threw a smoke bomb.

Boruto: Shadow Clone Jutsu!

I made 2 clones. We jumped out of his way. I need to make him stand still. I have to let him hit the clones. They'll hold him still as I attack. I have to use extra chakra to make sure they live long enough. He won't know which one I am.

I hid behind his mud wall. I need to clones to get hit. The smoke cleared. He jumped out with his sword. He stabbed my clone. My clones grabbed his arm. My other clone ran towards him. He tried to jump but the 1st clone held him down. The 2nd clone stabbed his leg with a kunai. He grabbed his leg.

I formed my Purple Lightning. This is it. I ran out towards them. He tried to get away but failed. I jumped at him. My clones disappeared. I was too close for him to move. I stabbed him with my Purple Lightning.

Boruto: I told you I don't plan on getting killed.

He grabbed my wrist. I pulled my arm away from him and punched him in the chin. He fell onto his back.

???: You're a lot stronger than I thought.

My Jõgan deactivated and I fell to my knee. I felt a lot more drained than normal. I looked back at him. He was gone. What the hell?! I felt super weak and fell onto my side. I closed my eyes.

Sarada's POV

We reached the hospital. I ran inside. I heard Shikadai and Chocho follow me inside the building. I ran past the lady at the front. I ran into Boruto's room. He was on the bed. I ran over to him.

Chocho: What happened?

Sarada: No time to explain. Shikadai, help!

Shikadai picked Boruto up. I ran out of the hospital. We need to go somewhere safe. 

Sarada: Chocho, go inform Lord 7th of what you know and what happened.

Chocho: Ok.

She separated from me and Shikadai. 

Shikadai: Where are we going?

Sarada: We need somewhere safe.

Shikadai: I have a place. 

He ran straight ahead. I followed him. I hope Boruto wakes up soon.

After about 5 minutes we reached this little shed. It's on the outskirts of the village. Shikadai goes to the door and pulls out a key. He unlocks the door and flips a light switch. Then we walk in. There's chairs, a mini fridge, and a T.V. 

Sarada: What is this place?

Shikadai: Me and Boruto come here to hangout sometimes.

He laid Boruto on the ground and sat in a chair.

Shikadai: So are you gonna explain what happened?

Sarada: Mitsuki is after him. He has this special dojutsu and Mitsuki wants it. When we went to my house there was this guy who put my mother in a genjutsu of some kind. He put Boruto in the genjutsu too. 

Shikadai: That's a lot to take in.

Sarada: It's true!

Shikadai: I believe you but why?

Sarada: I don't know!

I sat down in a chair. 

Shikadai: I'm gonna go find Chocho and Inojin.

Sarada: Don't trust him.

Shikadai: Inojin?

Sarada: He works for Mitsuki.

Shikadai: Are you sure?!

Sarada: He took me to Mitsuki. He knocked me out.

Shikadai: I've known him for so long.

Sarada: I'm sorry.

Shikadai: I'm gonna find chocho.

He left. I looked back at Boruto. 

Sarada: I hope you're okay.

I tucked my head into my knees. I felt tears.

???:Sarada?

I looked up.

It was Inojin. 

Inojin: We meet again.

I stood up. I pushed him back.

Sarada: How did you know we were here?

He smiled. I screamed.

Suddenly, I was back in the chair. I looked up. It was Chocho.

Chocho: Are you ok?

Sarada: Just a bad dream. I'm fine.

Chocho: Lord Seventh wants to talk to us. 

I saw Shikadai standing behind her. 

Sarada: Let's go. 

Shikadai: Should we take Boruto?

Sarada: We should. I'll carry him this time.

He nodded and ran outside. Chocho followed him.

???: s-sarada..?

I turned around. Boruto was looking up at me.

Sarada: Boruto!
