Yami possesses a powerful Quirk that grants him the ability to summon the monstrous Yokai known as Gashadokuro.

Unextinguished Rage -

The unextinguished rage, or just blue flames as Yami calls them, are flames made entirely from Gashadokuro's own rage.

These flames, can only be extinguished by the user, whether on command or simply if they lose consciousness. Though these flames are technically impossible to extinguish through conventional means, they aren't as hot as normal flames, and instead feel more warm than actually hot.

That being said, it doesn't mean they can't burn things, it just takes a little longer. Burning objects or organisms with these flames strengthens Gashadokuro's own body when summoned, eventually to the point where he becomes enveloped in these flames, significantly increasing its own abilities.
