After retrieving his wine from his limo, Jumin headed over to the counter to pour himself a drink. As he begins to pour himself a glass, Zen breaks the silence.

"It's kind of weird to have you over here..."

"If you want, I could leave."

"Dude don't take things so seriously, I only meant that I never expected it, that's all."

"Oh, well then you should've said that." He turns to face Zen now. "If I'm being honest, I wouldn't have imagined it either." He takes a small sip of his wine. "Also...you've been rather agreeable lately-"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Only that you haven't told me you hated me all night. It's...refreshing."

"God, does he really think I hate him?"
"Yeah well you haven't been irritating me so.." Zen hurries to grab a beer to hide his blush.

"Tell me. Why do I irritate you? I don't think I've done anything wrong...unless I have and didn't know.."

"What? No. Dude, listen. You just...remind me of someone I'd like to forget, okay?"

"So I haven't hurt him, that's a relief."
"Who's this-"

"I don't want to talk about him." Zen interrupts.

"Okay then."
Zen sits in the stool next to Jumin and takes another chug of his beer.

"So..when's the last time you've heard from V?"

"Six months." Jumin furrows his brows as he finishes his glass in two gulps.

"You alright?"

"Yes, as always." As he says this, he pours himself another full glass.

Sensing Jumin's discomfort, Zen changes the subject. "So...why'd you really show up at the theater tonight?"

"I told you already. It was to spite you."

"Dude, you really are a bad liar." Zen laughs out before finishing his beer.

"It's not polite to accuse someone with no evidence." Jumin looks into his glass as he speaks.

"It's not polite to lie to someone to their face. Wanna know how I know? It's because when I saw you, you looked surprised as hell to see me...almost as if you didn't want me knowing you were there."

"Fuck"

"If you wanted to spite me, you would've made sure to show your face just to piss me off." Zen chugs his beer again, feeling more courageous.

Finishing his second glass, Jumin starts to feel his buzz as well. "That isn't concrete evidence, Zen. I already told you why I came..."

"Yeah yeah, I'll back off since you don't want to come clean."

Grabbing their third serving of drinks, the pair settles into silence for a moment, thinking their own thoughts:

"I knew this was too risky"

"I wonder if I should just ask him already. I know he didn't just come to spite me, so why? Fuck it, this must be a sign for me to find out."
"Hey I have a question to ask."

"What is it?"

"Don't take this the wrong way or anything but...do you like women?"

"Are you Luciel now?"

"No, I just..." Zen looks down at his half empty beer can. "I just..want to see where seven gets the joke from.."

"And you call me a terrible liar."

Zen blushes furiously and tries to inconspicuously hide his face with his can once again.

"He's asking this? Why? It doesn't seem to be a prank..."
"If you want, I'll answer the question"

Perking up now, Zen replies "O-oh you don't have to if you aren't comf-"

"Promise."

"What?"

"Promises mean nothing to me unless they're in writing but I'm trusting you with information that can't be written. Do you understand?"

Zen looks into Jumin's once cold, calculating eyes to find them riddled with anxiety, uncertainty and fear.

"Y-yes...I promise I won't say anything..."

"The answer to your question...is yes, I do...but not strictly women."

"S-so you're b-"

"Yes."

"You seem ashamed to admit it."

"I am.."

"But why? You like who you like and there's nothing wrong-"

"My reputation as well as my fathers will be in jeopardy if something like this came to light. I can't do that to him." Jumin hurriedly finishes his third glass of wine. "Why are you asking me this all of a sudden?" He turns to look at Zen again.

With wide eyes and crimson cheeks Zen stammers out his answer. "Um, I was just curious...that's all."

"Why?"

"Huh?"

"What made you curious in the first place?"

"Fuck Zen you can do this, just say it!"

"B-because...I'm not completely straight either a-and I just wanted to know if I could..confide in someone."

"Hm, you're still a bad liar but this one is believable so I'll choose to believe it."

"What?? You jerk, I just poured my guts out to you-"

"You half-assed it. I believe you when you say you aren't straight but the part about finding a confidant is a lie. I mean, if you wanted someone like that, Yoosung would be a better person to ask than me."

Zen sighs towards the ceiling. "You're such a smart ass, you know that?"

"I am well educated, yes."

Both chuckle before Zen clears his throat.

"I um...I like you.."

Jumin chokes on his wine and through a raspy voice, asks "What did you say?"

"I like you...and I have for a while now."

"What constitutes a while?"

Zen looks to his feet, "Since we met.."

"So...you too?"

Zen perks his head up again. "Me too?"

"I've liked you since the moment I laid eyes on you, Zen."
