A lone kitsune wandered the border between the mystical and scientific factions. There weren't many neutral territories that neither held. However, this kitsune attempted to cleanse the corruption and helping injured travelers from either side.

Since the launch of the nukes life on the planet has been barren corrupted but no one really knew much about it. Or any record of it was known.

This kitsune in particular stuck out like a sore thumb. From his 9 fox tails waving in the wind, his bright yellow-orange shirt, and his teal pants. After wandering for a while, the kitsune made their way back to a small town. It was one of the few border towns that were neutral. The kitsune sat inside to relax from the heat and doing his daily routine of being a healer. They got some water and made their way to a side window that had a seat staring out the window.

There was a person outside that seemed to stumble a bit before seeming to walk towards the town. Barely taking a few more steps the person collapsed and this time they didn't catch themselves.

Seeing this the kitsune stood dropping their water "Oh my gods... barkeep get a bath going quickly, food and water as well." They said before running out to meet the person that had fallen. He moved over to try and help the person up.

The person was a long platinum haired male, red visor goggles. His figure was very feminine and when the kitsune moved to help him up it was evident that the male was extremely malnourished and suffering from heatstroke. What was strange the male was wearing a sweater which was a rear thing to wear during the day with how hot it was during the day. It seemed to have a weird red color over it all except the hood.

"Hey, are you alright?" the kitsune asked using his tails to help support the male a bit.

The male's eyes slowly opened and when it did, he tried to pull away "Stay back you..." he tried to pull something from his backpack on his back but before getting to say anything more before falling back onto the kitsune's tails unmoving.

"Great" the kitsune sighed moving to drag the poor male back to the bar.

"You keep bringing strays Koryn and I will have to start taxing you for all the pets you have." The barkeep laughed once coming down the stairs.

"Oh, come on he's only the third one this week." Koryn smiled heading up the stairs slowly with the male. Once upstairs Koryn started to remove the clothes of the male and putting him in a bathtub. It was even more evident that the male had a lot of slash marks on his front and back of his body. Koryn sighed as he cleaned up the man's wounds "you are lucky it was me who found you, the others aren't so nice" he avoided touching below the man's waist.

The male after feeling the cool water wash over him jumped awake pulling away from Koryn "What you do to me? Did you do this?" he was slightly out of it. His golden eyes darted back and forth looking for an escape.

"No, you are very much alive. Couldn't very well leave you to die in the sun. When you finish your bath, I can heal up your wounds. I do have a meal for you just outside this room." Koryn gave a slight smile and walked out leaving the door open. He went to a table and sat picking up a book that had a strange arcane marking on it.

"Am not going to let you touch me you Mystic" the male snarled looking for his backpack, but it was in the other room when his eyes landed on it. Even though he wasn't healed and was naked he tried to go for it anyways.

One of Koryn's tails flicked and the gravity around the male made him freeze just as he crossed the doorway. "Now hold up I swear all I did was bathe you!" he got up putting the book down and getting the male's clothes "Here are your clothes even. Not washed or clean but" His voice became pleading as he looked at the male "I don't like how the world is and has ended up any more than you do. But please calm down. Your injured and obviously malnourished. I can heal you once you finish bathing."
