Jenni's Pov

I felt weightless... well until I was in the pool. I feel myself sinking as I let the feeling of being weightless consume me. I open my eyes watching the world beyond the surface of the water. Air bubbles make their way, gracefully, to the surface of the water. Everything feeling numb, yet I could still feel everything. I don't know how to describe it. I continue to watch everything going on, my mind wandering and going through memories I cherish. I slowly start to close my eyes as I get a sense of drowsiness. My body hits the bottom of the pool, my clothing tries to escape from me, my mind goes numb. Something I haven't experienced for a while... a splash causes me to open my eyes. My eyes meet Jake's just before everything goes black.

"Please... just let me do this," I plead to a group of people.
"You have to follow tradition," a lady says glaring at me in disappointment.
"But I don't love the prince! I love the knight!" I say tears falling from my eyes.
"This is forbidden!" A man with a crown on shouts.
"Please!" I plead once more.
"He has obviously enchanted you!" The man yells anger and fear in his eyes.
"No, he hasn't!" I say as some guards make their way to me.
"You must stay in your chamber!"
"Why? Because I love a man!?"
"This is for your safety!"
"No, it's not! It's causing me heartache!"
"To your chambers now!" The man yells his voice holding authority, "and you! You will be burnt to the stake for using sorcery!"
"No!" I scream my heart tearing apart. "No!"
"Please my King, I beg of you!" Jake calls out tears falling from his own eyes.
I feel a hand grasp onto my arm and I jerk away. I sprint to Jake, my heart breaking with every step. Everything slows down as he escapes the guards grasps for a brief moment. We instantly wrap our arm around each other and kiss. We stay like that for moments that I wanted to last forever. The kiss was full of want, need, fear, and love. This could be our last kiss before my heart gets torn completely out of my chest.

I gasp for air as Brooke slaps the side of my face.
"Wake your stupid ass up!" Brooke screams at me.
"What the fuck?" I ask cradling my cheek as tears fall continuously from my eyes.
"We have to go," Jake says and as soon as I hear his voice my heart pulls in pain.
I get up, my head down, my heart in pain. I couldn't look at Jake... not now. Brooke keeps me steady as we walk out of the pool area. I hear a loud noise like the door being slammed open.
"Brooke..." Jake says worry in his eyes, "I'll take her, it'll be faster."
Brooke nods and gives me to Jake, I reach out to her my heart aching.
"No!" I say tear falling from my eyes, "Brookey!"
"Jenni, go!" Brooke demands.
"No!" I say and hug her. "I need you the most..."
"Jenni, we must go," Jake says.
I hear heavy footsteps charging towards us and before I knew it Jake threw me over his shoulder and start to sprint away.
Tears fall from my eyes, everything was going great!
