Ella just wants to be treated the same as others but it's a bit hard to do that if you live in a town that can't stand gay people let alone against it.
I jump from my bed and instantly get slammed with the strong smell of fire, I see smoke rise from the stairs I see it curl and dance across to my room, I start coughing, I get down on my knee's... thats until a thought slipped into my mind like a note... mum.
I jump up not caring if I breath in the smoke my mind was already made, I sprint to the stairs and leap all the way down til I made my way to the kitchen, the stove wasn't turned on and the oven light wasn't even on this was fishy since my mum was very cautious about using anything that could be hazardous. After three minutes of searching for my mother I finally find her crouched behind the couch, I take her by the shoulder and started to walk fairly quickly to the door outside I also realize she had a little limp which I became very alarmed.
Once we where outside I screamed out.
" WHAT THE HELL MUM?! "
My mum looked at me with slow eye's, I felt bad for yelling at her straight away.
" I didn't, I was in the bathroom, I smelt smoke and I didn't know what to do and you know I always turn the oven and the stove off... "
It was 1:00 I didn't feel like sleeping I was in a tent with a sleeping bag outside in the heat with only a Laptop, books a notebook and most of my clothes, after the fire a team went in and looked for the remaining objects, which was lucky because most of my things where still usable. I pulled out my phone and started texting Toby, he is my best friend and gamer exstrodanaire, I knew he would be up he stays up all night playing video games.
