"Well, I messed up" you sighed, looking back at the recently collapsed floor you just walked over. You had gotten bored, and decided to go investigate the old house overlooking the large lake in your neighborhood.
There were rumors of a ghost, but you didn't believe in the paranormal.

"I guess there's no turning back now" you groan, trudging on, deeper into the house, even though you'd rather not. You weren't scared easily, and normally you would be fine walking through an old decrepit house, but something was just. . . off. You felt like you were being watched, but you could never find a pair of eyes other than your own, no matter how hard you looked.

Eventually, you came upon the back door. Grasping the door handle, a small female voice floats out from behind you.
"You're leaving? Don't go, please"
You spun around and saw a small girl, who you would have thought was around ten or eleven if it wasn't for her sailor type uniform often used in high schools. She had long red twintails, tied up with a white ribbon that hung down to her ears. She looked up at you with her bright blue eyes.
"Who-?" you froze, not believing what you were seeing. You blinked, but she stayed the same. Her whole body gave off a pale blue glow, and you could see the hallway behind her, through her.

"How-? Wha-?" you stuttered, causing her to giggle. It wasn't malicious, though. She showed legitimate amusement at your reaction to her ghostly form.
She floated over to you, as if to affirm what you were seeing.
"I'm a ghost, silly! Boop!" she smiled, booping you on the nose. You fell back, still stuttering. Her amused face turned into an annoyed one, seeing as you were still in shock.

"I'm a ghost girl! Get over it already! Jeez!" she pouted. You came to your senses after realizing she was just like a normal girl. Then you freaked out again, realizing she was just like a normal girl. You never were great with girls, and often ended up slapped, humiliated, or just straight up ignored.
The glowing girl sighed, and started to pull you upstairs, causing you to panic even more, I'm turn adding to her annoyance.

"G-g-g-g-"
"YES I AM A GHOST! GET THE HELL OVER IT!"
"GIRL!!"
She stopped, turning to look at you, confused.
"Wh-what?"
"Not a girl I can't deal with girls what do I do what if I mess up what if-"
"Pfft" she starts to laugh.
"FUCK! I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING AND SHE'S ALREADY LAUGHING AT ME!"
She wipes a tear from her eye
"No, it's not you. I have never had a reaction close to that! I kinda like you. Wanna stay a while?"
"Y-you. . . Don't hate me?"
"Nnnnnoooo? Why would I?"
"T-that's the kindest thing anyone's ever said to me"
She looks at you, both confused and concerned.
"Okay, I don't know your story, but you are telling me, and probably staying with me for a while. C'mon" she goes back to dragging you upstairs, until you get to what you assume is her room, due to the girlish look of the walls.

The room wasn't huge, but it wasn't small either. There was a kotatsu, and a small table with two chairs. She proceeded to sit you in one, before taking her seat on the other side of the table.

"Okay, first things first, I am Suzumoto Takada. I am a ghost, however, I don't know how I died. This was my house when I was alive, and continues to be in death. I like nice people, and hate pineapple. Now it's your turn to tell me about yourself"
You sigh, giving into her request

"I am (f/n)(l/n), I am a high school student. I live alone, am unemployed, and about to be evicted due to not being able to pay rent. I am not good with girls, and mostly keep to myself. I like scary movies and videos, like Crypt TV on YouTube. I'm not scared most ghost movies because I don't- didn't believe in ghosts"

Suzumoto looks at you, her blue eyes tearing up
"(l/n)-kun, that's so sad! I'm sorry you had to live like that! Without anyone caring! But it's okay! You have me now! You're gonna live with me and Kimono-san! Okay?"
"Well, I have to leave sometimes for school and to get my- wait, Kimono-san? Who's that?"
Suzumoto points to something behind you and you turn to see a girl with long black hair, wearing traditional Japanese funeral clothes, with a white kimono and triangular ghost headband. She was average height, around five feet tall. Her right eyes was a deep blue and looked normal, while the left one looked bloodshot and swollen, dripping blood from her lower eyelid like tears.
