isha [night]
I sat down on the яσυgн concrete,
running my hands along the
cracked edges of the pavement,
And when I studied the open air
above me,
I noticed that the moon was
only a silhouette
against the
night sky,
Yet something about it's presence,
was unnerving.
It wasn't the fact that it
shone like my mother's
smile,
or the fact that it shed light on the barren ground,
But maybe It was the fact that
my soul,
felt ιℓℓυмιиαтє∂,
as if the moon was
a sign from God,
proclaiming that He was always
by
my
side.
Assalamu Alaikum or Hello,
