And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient. [Surah Baqarah: Ayah 155]

maghrib [evening]

I  pulled  at the ℓєαтнєя straps,

of my worn bag,

and pressed the cool surface

against my gиαωιиg stomach.

My hands fumbled through

the condensed interior,

searching for everything,

yet nothing

at the

same time.

Unwillingly, I picked out

the spiral-bound pages

of my ĤĔĂVŶ notebook.

And I almost began to

laυgн at

the small things,

that had been seen,

as such mammoths that roamed,

once upon a time.

Soon, I came to acknowledge that

writing the mumbled

and scrabbled

voices, had been sσσthíng;

a safe haven in disguise.

And your safe haven

was in the tough strands

of your blackened hair;

though I wasn't numbed

by your ǝןqɐɹǝɯnuuı fears,

as I had been.

Towards the end,

of the  fading  syllables

lay the discreet page of the

printed ink of

our blood,

which was stamped onto

the dark paper, the color of the sky.

And then I

ṡυḋḋεṉlÿ wondered why your

blood tasted golden;

нυє∂ like the

ς๏l๏гร of the rainbow

I could not touch.

Assalamu Alaikum or Hello,

Sorry for the long wait, but I hope that you guys liked this chapter. I had a bit of a busy schedule, which may or may not have resulted in a rushed piece of writing. THANK YOU ALL (OR JAZAKALLAH) FOR TAKING YOUR TIME COMMENTING, READING OR VOTING! SERIOUSLY, I AM NOT CRYING BECAUSE IT IS SO SURREAL! :D Alhamdulillah, Allah SWT has granted me this blessing, and it is so amazing to me that you guys like my writing, and that I am able to share it with you! Inshallah (God Willing) please pray for me, and I wish you all a wonderful day! (ALSO, if you are not able to read the upside down word in the chapter it says "innumerable") :)
