Chapter 2
As we arrived at the party my mind still raced with the thought of what was going to happen.
I could feel something bad is gonna happen. Something bad. But what that was, I had no clue. As soon as I got near the house I was hit by the booming music and the smell of alcohol hit me like a bullet. I almost gagged at the stench of vodka. I hate vodka. It's the one thing I can't stand!
"Hey you wanna drink?" Bailey shouted over the music.
"Cider please!" I said. He nodded and headed off in the direction of the kitchen.
With Bailey I went to find Lola and Taylor. I found them on the dance floor so I joined them.
"Hey bitchs!" I yelled over the really load music with was blasting out Olly Murs 'dance with me tonight'.
"Hey babes!" Lola shouted as soon as she saw me.
"How are you? Ready to party the night away?" she asked me with mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Oh I'm more than ready!" I answered with mischievous grin.
Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder. I spun around to find Bailey standing with 2 drinks in his hand. He handed one to me and led me away from my friends.
Once we got outside we sat down on the porch swing in his backyard. I took a swig from my drink but it tasted like vodka.
Yuk! So I spit it back in without Bailey seeing and put it down on the grass. We sat there for about half an hour, not talking just sitting looking at the stars.
"I think someone spiked my drink," Bailey suddenly claimed, but it sounded forced. So I went along with it.
"Yeah me to!" I forced a chuckle.
"Good." he said but it sounded like he had that planned all along. Was this what he was planning?
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
He sighed.
"Here's the thing your rich. And I need money." he explained. Now im confused.
"So this is what's gonna happen. Your going to stay here while I go get something, OK?" he said with a firery tone. I could only nod.
"Good now stay there!" he commanded. He then got up and went inside.
OK so I know he said stay but to hell with that! I got up and ran back though the house as fast as I could. I suddenly ran into something rock hard. Zac.
"Oh sorry!" he started but then saw it was me and smirked.
"Oh hey A. How are you?" he pondered. I tried to move round me but he stopped me.
"Why in such a rush don't you wanna dance with me?" he mocked.
"I'd rather dance with a llama!" I yelled, anxious to get away.
"Whoa what's with the attitude baby girl?" he questioned.
Before I could answer I saw Bailey bounding towards me. I quickly ran past Zac and shouted
"Bye Zac you arsewipe!" I felt strangely happy I said that but my happiness soon turned to fear when I heard Bailey running after me down the street.
"You bitch, I will get you and your money just like I did your father!" he bellowed. I stopped in my tracks and turned around slow.
"What?" I questioned in a high pitched voice.
"Opps said to much. Well it can't hurt. You really think your father just disappeared? No we took him and got all his money, you see we told him we would not hurt his family or his oh so precious daughter!" he said in a girl tone.
"If he gave us the money we wanted. He did in the end and you know what we did next?" he asked. And his next words were the words I never ever wanted to here.
"We dumped him in a river with his hands and legs tied together!" he said with so much mocking in his voice.
He killed my dad. The person who would hug me tight and tell me I was the prettiest girl in the world and he'd do anything for me. My dad was dead! I saw red. I lunged towards him and kicked him right in his balls the repeatedly in his face and stomach.
He did not see it coming so he was help less.
"You murdered my dad! One day I will find you and whoever else hurt him and kill you!" I screamed and ran towards my house but not before I heard his last words.
"You better run Aria. Run and run because I will get you again!" he yelled. So that's what I did.
As soon as I got home I hopped straight into my car. I kept everything in there. Money, cash card and even spare clothes. So I got straight in and drove. I looked back at my house and realised that was the last time I would see it.
I stopped about 10 miles away from home. I had cried and cried the whole way. For my dad, home, friends and family that was the last time I would see them but soon my tears ran out and I realised that I needed more petrol so I stopped at a power station.
At the power station I filled up my car and got 2000 pounds off my cash card. If there's one thing I learnt from murder mysteries was that cards were traceable so I wanted to use cash as much as possible. I also go a good supply of food. Chocolate, crisps, energy drinks and water along with other things I might need.
Once I was done I got in my car and drove listening to the radio and I went. After that night my life changed forever.
Hey now you know :) xx
