Okay so I wanted to make a new oni chapter because I kinda got into the story plot of this. To clear things up this is NOT the original universe of Nexus and Kevin. (If that wasn't hard to tell) For a friend and for my sanity Kevin did not die in this world. (I guess yet) Now lets start the story.
Nexus climbed up the roof with great stealth, when he reached the top he looked down at his chest to see a huge scythe cut through his side. "Shit.." He mumbled as the loss of blood made him pass out. Nexus woke to a coffee pot whistling. "Huh?" He sat up to see master Han's dojo, he was in his bed with normal clothes and a bandage around his wound. He looked at the entrance to the dojo to see Han walking in with groceries. He looked at Nexus and smiled putting down his groceries. "Be a good lad and help with groceries Nexus, I need to attend to the tea." He said walking to the kettle. Nexus got up his wound still stinging. "Aren't you going to ask about this?" Nexus snarled pointing at his bandaged up chest. "After all you were the one to help me." Han looked at Nexus and continued messing with the tea. "All answers come in time." Han said. Nexus snorted then grabbed a sack of groceries putting it on the table. Han pored himself and Nexus a cup of tea and set them on the rug of the dojo. He then walked over to help Nexus. "What troubles you? Do we need to meditate?" He said putting up his bag of groceries, then coming to Nexus. Who hasn't even put up one thing. Nexus looked at Han. "I-I found him." He mumbled remembering the night before and how he tried to kill Kevin. "I lost control when I found him and tried to slaughter him." Han's wise eyes softened, more than usual. "My student do not feel guilty, you're Oni side will haunt you like that forever. Sadly, but you are the one who can look at it in a different perspective." He said putting a hand on his shoulder. "I'll put up the groceries you go and drink your tea." He said leading Nexus to the dojo. Nexus sat down looking at his tea. "Can I go find him?" Nexus said lost in his thoughts. Han was done with the groceries and now sitting by Nexus. "Yes my son you can, but not at night. Dress casually in the day, then maybe the Oni within you will be tame." Nexus looked at him then got up. "Welp I have some searching to do." Nexus said going to his closest. He got a blood red scarf and a black turtleneck, he already had black skinny jeans on. "Be carful my son and know your limits." Han said as Nexus walked out the door wrapping the scarf around his neck.
Kevin walked down the street with a map of the city in his hands. He found out there was a small area based completely off of Japan. He knew the markings on Nexus were Oni, and with some research he found out Onis were Japanese. So he decided to start his search there. He walked down the street passing many sushi restaurants, and many Japanese based stores. Kevin didn't know exactly what he was looking for, but he guessed that when he found Nexus he will have found it.
(Like I said a different universe so instead of China town they have japan town)
