It's been 3 weeks after Melissa's death. I can't believe she would just leave me like that. Everytime I think of her the only thing I can remember is the accident. Every now and then I just talk to Grace just to calm myself down, you know what? Maybe a visit to Grace right now wouldn't be a bad idea. I grabbed my phone and called her. . . . "Hey Betty! "Hey Grace" "Soooo why did you call me?" "I just wanna ask you....can I come over?" "Oh sorry, I'm at another friend's house right now" "Oh okay then..." "I'm really sorry Betty" "It's alright, goodnight" "Goodnight" B e e p "Why did she have to be at a friend's house?" As I sighed. "I'm just gonna make coffee". As I go downstairs to make coffee, I heard a loud meow from outside, it really spooked me. I opened the door to see a black cat staring at me with it's deep blue eyes. "Hello dear, what are you doing here?" I said, with a pitched voice. "Meow!" "Awww, you must be cold, let's get you warmed up". As I pick up the cat, I just realised.....the cat looked....familiar......it looked like Melissa... Blue eyes, black hair, and a calming aura.

"M....Melissa?" I said, with a shaking voice and tears running down my cheeks. "Meow". "No, you're not Melissa, you're just a cat, and I'm just going insane." I went inside and put the cat on the couch, after I was done making coffee, I sat on the couch and put the cat on my lap as we watched a movie together, it was the first time I ever bonded with cats. I feel proud of myself, I am going to remember this, just me and Melissa.....watching a movie.....
Grace's P.O.V.
I wonder if she's okay, her voice was slightly shaking, I hope I didn't make her cry. I checked my phone and it was 2:34 AM, "Oh shid! I haven't even finished my project yet!" I shouted, I quickly grabbed my laptop and I worked on my project like a gamer that was holding a wooden hoe while near a creeper that was about to explode. : : "HUh finally, it's done, now I can sleep tight and nOT worrying of anything in life" I jumped onto the bed, and said goodnight to my friend, that was playing Minecraft at 3:00 AM Zz Zz Zz Good morning tuesday! I prepare my stuff and go back home and thEN go to work. I went to papa's bakery to get some breakfast and suprisingly, Betty was there! "Good morning papa!" "Good morning Grace" (Papa) "Hey Grace!" (Betty) "Hey Bet!" "So Papa, can I have some cinnamon rolls?" "Of course!" He then goes to prepare the cinna buns :). "Sooo....any news?" "I found a black cat that night, it was sooo cute! We cuddled all night it...really reminded me of Melissa...I really miss her..."she said, with a hint of sadness.
"Awwww, don't be so blue Betty. I'm sure Melissa would be happy for you and the cat" "Thanks Grace :)" "Alright, here's your cinnamon rolls!" "Thank you, Papa" "That'll be $3.76" (Let's just pretend she paid that) "Okay, bye Betty! Bye Papa!" "Goodbye!" "Byeee" I walked to the campus through a shortcut, my house is very close to the campus so I never got there late, and that's a fact. Class was still in a few hours so I just chilled, I guess. I have a favorite spot there, there was a bench beside an oak tree, very aesthetic I would say, When I went there, there was a guy, blonde, tall, with beautiful blue eyes, I've never seen anyone that handsome before, is he single? I'm going to ask him out, okay don't be nervous Grace, you can do this. "Hi" "Hello" "I've never seen you before, are you new?" "Yes, my name is Daniel Carter, what's yours?" "Grace, Grace Clark" "That's a beautiful name" "Thanks, my parents gave it to me" SHOOT! Why did I say that??!! I nervously sat down beside him and smiles awkwardly. "Hahaha, that's a great joke" "Eheheh yah..." There was something on his lap, I looked down and, a pug! Two pugs! I totally forgot the campus let pets in. "Oh! Are those your pugs?" "Yeah, their names are Maya and Edgar"he stared at me while smiling
"Awwww....they're so adorable!" "Thanks, I really appreciate it" "I remebered I had a dog before, he was the sweetest, he died, unfortunately" "Oh..sorry, I didn't know about that but, we can share the pug now! You're with Maya and I'm with Edgar!" "Really? Is it okay? Am I not bothering you?" "No! You're a sweet girl, I would love to be your friend" he looked at me, still grinning "Thank you, Daniel We played with Maya and Edgar, it was really fun, my heart was racing, I really fell in love with him didn't I? I hope he actually love me back.....
"Hey, Daniel" "Hm?" He hummed, passing me a sweet smile. "Are you....are you single" as I blushed a slight crimson on my cheeks. He seems surprised, and his face flushed hot pink all over his face. "Uhhh...yeah, why do you ask?" My face lit up and I couldn't stop the smile on my face. "Do you want to uhhh.........do you wanna hangout sometimes?" His face looked like a tomato, as he was awkwardly smiling at me. "S-sure" "Okay, meet you at Friday, yeah?" "O-okay" As I was about to say something I looked at the time (on my wristwatch, of course) and surprise, surprise IT WAS 8:45. we both looked at each other for a split second and quickly grabbed our stuff and sprint to our classes. I gasped for air, breathing heavily, as I turned to my left, B O O M Daniel. We both shared a confused look and quickly turned our head to the other side while blushing hardcore. "Uhmm...I didn't know we were on the same class" he stated "Yeah.." we both looked at each other once again and chuckled. I don't bother sitting so close like this, for some reason. HINT HINT "So uh..when do you wanna hangout" while he looked at me, with that cute ass smile. "Ummm...how about 8 ?" "Sure" his face looked so cute, like a puppy, I had to hold the urge to not just kiss him all over his adorable face.
