Just a pretty face

Parker's POV

Shawn has an interesting life. The talk at the cafe was so worth missing out on food. I thought I would never say that I love talking to someone, specifically a boy, more than I do eating food. What has this boy done to me?

"Hey Parker." Mila shouts down the phone.

"Hey what's up?" I ask.

"Well I called for two reasons, one was to tell you what happened at lunch earlier. So Jake asked me out!" She says screaming down the phone. "He told me the truth about you persuading him to ask me so thanks for that."

"Your welcome." A large grin appeared on my face. I makes me happy when I know my friends are happy.

"And two is you seemed really happy after the talk with Shawn so do you want to go on a double date with me and Jake aka. ask if you can bring Shawn?"

"I don't know Mila. Me and Shawn are just friends."

"Well, I'm not saying you need to date. You can go as friends, right?" I could mentally picture the grin on her face right now.

"I guess so. Wouldn't we be like 3rd and 4th wheeling though?"

"Well you have to ask Shawn. PLEASE!"

"Fine. I will ask him later."

"Okay. Please let me know."

"Okay okay I will do. I said I will speak to him later anyway."

"Ooooo. Okay."

"What? Talking to him is more interesting than talking to you. Anyway we didn't finish our conversation earlier."

"Okay." She says winking.

"What? I don't like him like that." I say giggling.

"Sure you don't. Anyway I have to go. Let me know about Shawn."

"Okay will do. Tomorrow, right?"

"Yep. 5 pm."

"Okay. Later Mi."

"Later Park."

Uh. Apart of me actually wants Shawn to be able to go tomorrow.

Me - Hi Shawn. Are you free at 5 tomorrow?

Shawn - Yeah. Can  I ask why?

Me - Me, Mi and Jake are going out and I wanted to ask if you wanted to come too.

Shawn - Uh okay. What time?

Me - Well, Jake and Mi are picking me up at 5 so come to mine around then. Here's my address.

I send over my address address. All confirmed. Better tell Mi.

Me - He's up for it.

Mi - Great. See you tomorrow. I will let you get back to talking to Shawn. ;)

Me - Whatever.

'Why did I agree to go today?' I question myself. It's a Saturday morning and on a Saturday morning I go gym. I get back about 12. Then I will have a little while to myself then I will have to be ready by 5. Today is going to be tiring.
