The Hue Heroes

Introduction

Smoke billowed through the streets, clouding Paisley's vision. Purple light radiated around her as she covered her mouth with her hand.
"Dammit!" Her other hand was positioned in a fist, held out in front of her. She couldn't get a clear target on the villain, but she could hear his cold laugh echo around her. He was firing up his final blow. If she didn't destroy him now, everyone around her would die. Actually, that was an understatement. Everything beyond her would die too.
Her entire body shook as her mouth opened in a muted out scream- blocked out by the heavy noise of her power. Purple lightning shot through the smoke, windows shattering and car alarms sounding around her. The smoke dispersed and the fleshy villain came into view. It's beady red eyes were now widened in horror. The giant fell to its knees, shrieking as the purple surrounded it and shattered every bone in its body.
She did it. A smile creeped across paisleys face, she was proud of her victory, but her smile was quickly interrupted by the shriek of a mother. The mother stared down at her mangled little boy. Paisleys shot had hit him too. She stared at the scene in horror, her smile now completely gone.
