02-NIGHTMARE.

Water was all I could see, I was inside the water, I couldn't breathe I was running out of air, I couldn't open the door, another car was leaning on it, the other side had dead bodies blocking it, the door wouldn't even budge, the water had filled the car and we were sinking very fast, I tried my best to open the door, it wouldn't open and then I saw two pair of eyes advancing really fast and....

I bolted up...

Someone just dumped a bucket of ice cold water on me.

'Wake up sleepy head, you are going to be late for your alpha meetings' I heard her voice. And I knew just who it was. Vidia. My adopted younger sister.

  'V... you are so dead' I said and turned to face her, there she stood in her pink tank top and her white boyfriend jeans then her flat white shoes, her hair was in two pony tails with pink ribbons on it. I glared hard at her and she giggled. I couldn't stay mad at her even if I wanted to and she was the only person that could withstand my glare on some occasions like this one. My glare softened and I smiled at her.

'I love you' she said and ran out of the room.

'I love you too, peanuts' I said with a smile. The dream I had long forgotten as always. Each time I had the same dreams but I couldn't get to the end something or some one in particular had some ways to wake me up. As much as I hated the idea of her stopping me from ending the dream, I loved her for waking me up.

Oh, my bad , my name is khan, khan palmer. I am the alpha of lunar pack, the largest pack you could think of. I was noted as a bad omen, a nightmare, scary stories told to children to put them to bed, the boggy man and all, I couldn't care less. I worked my butt off to get to this place and I wasn't going to let some names make me loose what I had worked for. My wolf's name is Ryan. He is a midnight black wolf with a white stripe going from his left shoulder to his paw. I stood up and yawned.

'Way to go, you might as well swallow the whole bed' he said

  'Go to hell' I muttered and he chuckled if that was possible.

I dragged my heavy body and pounding head and entered my ensuit bathroom, I brushed my teeth and entered the shower, took a warm bath and stepped out. I then entered my closet and took my clothes, a black jeans and a white button shirt with a  black new balance canverse, I ran my hand through hair and I was good to go. I turned to my full length mirror.

  'Damn, we are good' Ryan said and I couldnt agree more.

'You do know I am rocking it better' I said

'Whatever floats your boat' he said

'Asshole' I said and blocked him off before he could say any other thing. Just as I was about running down the stairs a heavenly smell wafted through my room door and halted my movements.

'Oh my goodness' I said sniffing more

'Is that the smell of...'

'pancakes' I said cutting Ryan off. I partially ran down the five flights of stairs to the kitchen, there in the dinning table laid a huge tower of pancakes and on the side was bacon and cheese.

'Heaven' I said and sat down.

'Thank you for joining us for breakfast' Mary Ann, my nanny since I was a kid said. She was light skinned, cute wrinkles on her face, a warm motherly smile and a sassy attitude. Yep, you heard that right.

   'Why, aren't you such a sunshine, anny' I said. God forbid I call her Mary Ann, I'll be dead, she said she didn't want to grow old quickly so calling her anny would slow it down and that's what every one in the pack calls her.

'Don't use that tone on me young man' she said pointing a warning finger at me and I smiled at her,  stood up,walked around the table and kissed her cheek.

  'You do know that you are late, right?' She asked me when I sat down back and I nodded.

'I know, but I can't pass on your food'
'It smells and tastes like heaven' I said.

'Just hurry up' she smiled

   'Besides am sure that they can wait, and if they can't they leave and get killed' I said the last part to myself but trust anny to hear.

   'There will be no killing from you, young man' she scolded and I made a face at her which earned me a hit from the spatula.

  'Anny, cut it out' I whinned. If my pack members saw me they wouldn't believe it, but the only two women in my life that could make me go mushy were vidia and Mary ann. They were my weak points. Major weak points. Speaking of which
 
  'Anny, where is v?' I asked her

      'Went to meet a friend of her's' she answered

  'A friend of her's as in sean?' I growled

  'Yes, and before you go all protective, I gave them boundries' anny said and that instead of calming me down did the exact opposite. Mary Ann is not your usual nanny, she was a crazy nanny. I caught her one time teaching them sex ed and I nearly collapsed.

'Don't worry, I trust v, she isn't like her older brother' she said and I scowled at her.

   'Just eat and get out of here' she said and turned to do the dishes that v obviously used.

I finished my meal and left for the pack metting house. I got there five minutes after I had finished eating, my pack was big, I had about two hundred thousand wolves in my pack and they were still increasing. I walked up to the door and the place became quite and before I got to the podium the whole place was quite and we'll organised. I stood there my beta Chris stood a bit to my left with his mate Julie who had a small visible baby bump. I felt a little pang in my chest but shook it off imidiately, Ryan whinned a little and I sighed.

  'Soon' I said to him in my mind and he whinned again.

  'Thank you all.for coming' I said
     'The reason I called you all here is because of our increase in number, and size' I said and waited to Guage their expressions. There were mumurs of agreements and head nods.
   'So I have decided that we will expand a little more but not more to get more than needed attention, so what we are going to do is, the ladies those who are pregnant and those who are breastfeeding should stay back while the rest, those that feel that they can work should assemble here on Friday by twelve am and the men, the elderly and kids, should day back but if you feel like you could also work do well to also assemble here, as for the rest it is mandatory  that you assemble here' I said and there were mumurs of approval and I nodded.

  'Very well then, that would be all' I said and dismissed them all.

Chris walked up to me, I turned and faced him,.

   'Well?' I asked raising a brow at him.

  'You didnt mention the real reason for the meeting' he reminded me and I shrugged. I wasn't ready to do that not now and definitely not any time soon.

  'You just had to chicken out' juliet said roiling her eyes at me and I grunted back at her.

  'I thought you were a mean and bad alpha?' She said putting her hand on her chin like she was thinking of something very important .

   'Yeah, big bad alpha' Chris taunted me along side his mate.

  'And here I thought you woul...'
     'Ok, I get it, I chickend out , great observation, juliet' I said and turned to walk out.

  'Let's go, chris' I grunted and left the room.

So much for being big and bad.
