I continued north and after around 10 minutes, I finally arrived at the party. I didn't need the map to see if I had found the right house. The loud music and almost even louder people gave it away. I stopped outside of Hunters big and expensive ass house, to take the scene in. Since I arrived so late compared to most of the people, a lot of people had gotten pretty drunk. As I walked through the open gates and the pathway up towards the house, I passed a violent fight between a group of boys. One of the guys had stains of blood on his shirt, and it didn't seem like it was his own blood. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. On the porch, a girl was comforting another crying girl. I continued through the open entrance door and started to look for someone I knew. The house seemed to be jammed packed with drunk teens talking way louder than necessary. God, this place is beautiful I thought and looked up at the ceiling. A chandelier was placed right above my head, and right in front of me was a grand staircase. Someone bumped into me, and I stumbled.

"Liv!" A loud voice called from the living room. I turned my head to see a few familiar faces sitting in a black leather couch in the corner of the room. I didn't recognize the rest of the people in the group. The living room was barely lit up. I tried to avoid the dancing crowd while I walked towards my friends.
"Hi guys" I sat down next to Simone. We hugged. The couch was comfortable. It was soft and it felt like I was melting into it. I recognized the perfume I had gotten for Simones last birthday. She had been wearing it every day since I gave it. Wade was sitting in a leather chair with a girl I didn't know on his lap, and Lauren was on the other side of the little table.
"I called your name literally a thousand times" Simone said loudly.
"Oh, I didn't hear you, I guess" I shrugged. The music was blaring. I think they were playing hip hop or something, I hadn't heard the song before. Bad music. Great. "What are you doing?" I asked.
"Truth or dare" She answered.
"Really?" I raised an eyebrow. "I thought we left that in middle school"
"Apparently not. It's fun though, you should join us" We turned to the group of maybe ten people.
"I pick the girl with the curls over there" A guy said loudly. I could barely hear him over the loud music. It was Hunter. I hadn't noticed him at first, but he was sitting next to Lauren. Were my curls really that intense? I dragged my hands through my hair, to flatten it a little.
"Me?" I asked, just to be sure. He nodded.
"Truth or dare" He asked.
"Dare?" I regretted my choice immediately and hoped for an easy dare. I waited for him to make up his mind.
"Do five shots" He grinned. I sighed.
"Five... How about one?"
"Five" He said decisively.
"Fine. But someone will have to lend me something to drink" I hadn't gotten mine yet from Finn. A blonde girl I didn't know handed me a half empty bottle with clear liquid. I picked up a plastic shot glass from the glass table. Everybody was looking at me. I filled the glass halfway up and wrinkled my nose. It smelled bad, but I still poured it in my mouth and swallowed quickly. The taste was familiar, but gross. My stomach wrenched once the liquid slid down my throat.
"Four more" Hunter demanded and I did the rest of the shots and handed back the bottle. I dried my mouth with the back of my hand.
"Lauren. Truth or dare" I said. The taste in my mouth was awful.
"Truth" She said and smiled excitedly at me.
"Um... Have you ever tried any drugs?" I smiled evilly at her. I already knew the answer. She glowered at me, but proudly answered yes.
"Damn" someone said.
"You're an idiot" I said, but smiled at her. She rolled her eyes, and turned to ask someone else.

I lost track of the time, but it seemed like we had played for a long time. The bottle I had drunk from earlier was empty. So were a bunch of bottles and cans on the table. People had come and gone, Simone had left, and I was currently sitting next to a stranger. I found it hard to concentrate, and my head was spinning. I stood up, not knowing where I was going. I walked towards the growing crowd in the middle of the living room. I noticed Wade was walking next to me.
"Where are you going?" He asked.
"I don't know" I answered. "Oh wait-!" I suddenly remembered that Finn had my ciders. I started to speed up and looked at all the different faces, trying to find Finn.
"What are you doing, Olivia" Wade caught up with me. I hated the way he called me Olivia. No one did except for my parents. And him apparently. Everyone else called me Liv. It was kind of my thing, and he was ruining it.
"Trying to find Finn" I answered.
"Come with me. I know where he is" Wade grabbed my arm and walked me to a new room. We were in the kitchen now. It would have been a beautiful kitchen, if it weren't for all the mess people had made. This room was less noisy, but still crowded.
My foot suddenly felt cold, and I realized I had stepped in something wet.
"FUCK" I said, and moved away from the small pool of liquid on the floor. I let myself believe it was water even though it probably wasn't. As my head searched the room, I saw Finn sitting around the kitchen table.
"Finn!" I said without thinking and hurried over to him. I bumped into a person and stumbled. This was when I realized how drunk I was. My energy level was way over the top. I arrived at the table, and even though I looked around at the people there, I could not take in a single face. I swayed, but a sudden firm grip around my arm kept me from falling.
"Liv! What's up!" Finn was the one holding my arm, and seemed happy to see me.
"Do you... have... my drinks?" I asked. Someone laughed. I was confused, but ignored it.
"Maybe you have had enough tonight?" He said.
"No... I-"
"Sit down" He suggested, but I didn't have the patience to do that, so I left him and the group of people I didn't know who were. I could get my drinks later. I was missing out on all the fun that was going on.

The rest of the night went by in a slur. I had danced, talked to people I had never spoken to before and I had peed a lot. I knew I had drunk more than I had planned, as many people had let me taste their drinks, as well as I had finally gotten my ciders from Finn. They were gone now. This wasn't typical for my behavior, but I was having fun, so whatever I thought.
"I need some air" I told myself and a second later I was outside. I couldn't even remember finding or opening the door, but here I was. I knew I was shivering, but I couldn't feel the cold air on my body. It was like I was numb or something.
I let my feet carry me through the gate and away from the house. I was determined to walk. I didn't know why or where I was going, but I didn't care. The loud noise got less intense, and after a while I could barely hear anything from the party. It was pitch black outside. But the streetlights lit up the road. Even the houses in the street were dark and silent. I stood still for a while.
I want to go home I decided, I realized I was tired all the sudden. How do I get home though? All I wanted was to sleep in my warm and soft bed, and maybe drink some water, but I wasn't sure about the road home, and my phone had run out of battery.
It was like the silence made my head spin more than it did before. Well, I can't go home in this state. So I sat down and waited for the dizziness to go away, but it never did. In fact, it was getting worse. Is this even normal? The houses were moving. They shouldn't be moving like that. My vision got worse and worse and eventually everything was black. I felt my head fall to the ground. I slipped into unconsciousness.
