Parties Make The Pain Go Away

They call up all of their closest friends. Selena, Martha, and Gigi respond saying they can go to the party. Taylor grabs the grabs the tequila and vodka from her alcohol cabinet placing them all on her counter. Karlie grabs the shot glasses from Taylor's cabinet. They get out chips and dip for their friends. It is only one so they have a while before their friends are supposed to be here. Karlie looks through Taylor's fridge to find the ingredients for a salad. Karlie makes a salad for her and Taylor's lunch. Her and Taylor sit in a peaceful silence eating their lunch. When they are done Karlie and Taylor get out all the games that they might want to play.

"How are you doing?" Karlie asks Taylor.

"A lot better than I was last night. It doesn't hurt as much anymore." Taylor responds.

"I'm glad you are. Tom didn't deserve you." Karlie sweetly says.

"What do you want to do for dinner?" Taylor asks.

"I don't really feel like making all that food for all our friends so how about we just order some pizza," Karlie responds.

Yesterday and today had been very emotionally draining for Karlie and Taylor. Taylor has her security go pick up some pizzas from their favorite vegan pizza place. Both Taylor and Karlie's eyes are starting to feel heavy.

"Let's take a nap on the couch," Karlie suggests.

"Good idea," Taylor says mid yawn.

They curl up together on the couch basking in the presence of each other. Karlie being the taller one is holding Taylor to her chest. Karlie hears Taylor's breathing start to shallow out knowing that the singer must be falling asleep. Karlie falls asleep soon after.

"Awe you guys are so cute," a voice that sounds like Selena says right before Karlie hears the snap of a camera.

Karlie opens her eyes to see Selena Gomez standing over them phone in hand like she just took a picture.

"Wake up sleepy heads. I'm ready to party." Selena shouts joyfully.

The noise wakes Taylor up. Taylor sleepily lifts her head to see Selena standing over her and Karlie. Taylor is super happy to see her best friend Selena, but she also wishes Selena wasn't here right now, because Karlie is really warm and Taylor doesn't want to move.

"Wait what time is it?" Karlie asks.

"It's a little before seven o'clock. I showed up a little early and I just used my key to come in. When I walked in I saw you guys sleeping," Selena cheerfully says.

The doorbell rings, so Taylor gets up to greet their next guest. It is Martha and Gigi. Taylor invites them in ushering everyone to the kitchen where fresh pizza is waiting. Selena and Karlie linger in the family room a minute longer so Selena can ask Karlie a question.

"How is Taylor doing with all this?" Selena sincerely asks.

"She was a mess last night, but today has been better. This party is really just to get her mind off things. Also don't mention Tom's tweet because me and Tree agreed that it would be best to tell her a little later." Karlie notifies Selena.

"She's so lucky to have you" Selena wholeheartedly said.

They follow the rest of the girls into the kitchen to eat dinner. The pizza that they had gotten earlier smelled delicious. Karlie appreciated that Taylor made an effort to eat vegan food when Karlie was around Josh never even did that. The girls were laughing remembering when they all went on stage with Taylor. Everyone was drinking some wine with their pizza so they were starting to get a little drunk. After everyone had finished their pizza they went into the family room to jam out to music.
