'Villains..'

I felt my heart begin to race. I didn't know their quirks, I didn't know if they were just thugs, and I didn't know if they were experienced in villainy.

The ice cold stare's of the villains sent chills down my spine. The kitten tried to gasp for air in my arms, freeing from the fear cage I was being kept in by the villains ora.

"U-um, excuse me. I need to get to a vet clinic as soon as possible. So if you don't mind, p-please allow me to pass." I tried my hardest not to stutter in fear but my quivering lip refused to allow me.

"I don't know boys, should we let her pass?" Said one of the cloaked figures.

"I don't know..Maybe~" Another spoke.

"Why don't we keep her as our pet?~ We need another experiment to keep the doc busy these days. Otherwise he's gonna take another one of us." Said another.

I felt my heart drop to my stomach at the person's comment, I was so disgusted and terrified, I became nauseated.

"Yes, I like that idea~" The bird masked figure said as he took another step towards me.

My knee's buckled as my legs shook and trembled. I took a step back, and then I began to run. I turned on my heel thowing my body at the glass window display. I smashed through it, my body smacked onto the sidewalk knocking all the air out of my body, pain surged through me but I determined to get away. I got up in a haste and ran to the nearest alleyway to hide, still holding the kitten protectively in my arms.

"Please, this kitten will die!!!" I pleaded in desperation as they once again cornered me.

"Sorry little missy but you're coming with us!" Someone said as they all lunged at me.

I dropped to my knees and hunched over, shielding the small kitten with my back from any impact. The men began to punch and kick my body but I didn't move. Nothing was going to hurt that kitten. Not while I was still alive.

"Stupid bitch! Move! I'll kill you!!!" A villain shouted raising his fist to punch me once more in the head.

I prepared myself for impact but it never came. I hesitated before looking up to see a boy standing between me and the villains, holding the fist of my attacker.

"What's your name?" He asked me.

  Confused, I answered hesitantly.

"(Y-y/n) (L/n).."

"What's your quirk?" He asked again.

"..." I paused.

"Well!?" He was getting impatient.

"It... it's-" I was cut off by a sudden blankness.

"Tch. It doesn't matter!" I heard him shout.

My mind went foggy and I couldn't see anything. My vision was blurred. All I could hear was that boy's voice echoing inside my head, I felt the urge to trust him immediately without reason, my body obeyed him while my thoughts defied him.

"Attack them with your quirk!" He commanded.

My body felt heavy. I didn't know what was happening.

"MOVE!" He commanded me again.

'Why is everything so blurry? It's getting hard to breath. It's getting dark. No.. I'm scared. Someone please..HELP ME!!!'

Before I knew it I had succumbed to darkness, blacking out in the alley. When I woke up I was in an unfamiliar place with a massive headache. I sat up slowly, groaning from the pain of my aching head.

"You're finally awake." A voice called to me.

'That voice. I recognize it.. but where have I heard it before?..' I thought to myself.

The room was small and I was laying on a couch that I didn't recognize. Then again I don't recognize anything.

'Wait a minute.. where am I? Who am I?'

"I don't mean to be rude but.. do I.. know you?" I asked staring at the purple-haired boy.
