"So (y/n), are you excited to spend new years with your boyfriend?"

  It was the day before new years and my bestfriend was already pestering me about spending it with Shinso. Shinso and I had decided to keep our relationship a secret because our school doesn't allow dating. The only person that knows about our relationship, besides me and Shinso, is Mina. We just recently started dating a few months ago but what SHE wants us to do... We aren't ready yet!

  It was currently lunch time at our school, U.A. High. Mina and I just finished going through the lunch line and we are currently walking to our usual lunch table. We sat with, what we like to call, the Bakusquad. This includes Kirishima, Kaminari, Bakugou, Sero, Mina, and finally me.

"Mina!!!! Shut up there's people around!" I whisper-yelled, looking around the cafeteria for possible eavesdroppers.

"Relax! It's not like people are going to remember!"

"That's not the point! Just, SHHH!" I hushed again.

"I'll bet you two love birds are going to go on a romantic date, go to his house, watch the ball drop, and then both of you will drop your pa--"

"Mina!"  I interrupted, quietly yelling at her, blushing at the thought of Shinso and I in that situation.

  Mina Ashido, pink skin with black eyes, her quirk is Acid. She has always been the outgoing charismatic type, while I on the other hand am a natural born introvert.

"What?" Mina turned to me a bit concerned because her and I usually talk about those things just...NOT IN PUBLIC!

"Please! Just keep your voice down! What if Kaminari or Sero found out?! They'd tell--"

"What if I found out, what??" As if on perfect que, Kaminari and Sero simultaneously interrupted my pleas to Mina to hush.

"EEk! HUH? NO- IT'S, it's nothing.." I blushed thinking about my boyfriend, turning my face away from my crew.

  Hitoshi Shino, fluffy hair and tired violet eyes, his quirk is Brainwashing. He's an introvert just like myself only he isn't surrounded by people all the time, while I on the other hand am dragged around by Mina and the other Bakusquad members, yes even Bakugou drags me around because I'm "A self-conscious dumbass who needs social contact because he doesn't want to feel bad for a sewer rat." He is surprisingly nice to me for some reason. Nice in his own Bakugou way.

"Oh, I get it, you like someone don't you? I know what you mean, I like someone too." Kirishima butt into our conversation aswell. He stared at Bakugou when he talked about liking someone. Everyone in the squad knows about his little boy crush. We support👌.

"How long have you been there, Kiri?" I questioned to figure out how much he heard of me and Mina's conversation.

"Long enough to know you got a crush and I wanna know who it is!"

"NO! I DON'T!" I yelled louder than I meant to, making everyone in the cafeteria go quiet.

  My eyes widened and I looked over to Shinso hoping he wasn't looking back at me, but he was. I felt overwhelmed with social embarrassment and quietly set my tray down on our table before running to the roof top. I felt my eyes begin to sting. Everyone was still silent and standing still. It was like time stopped for them.

'Damn it! Why did I do that!? I'm such an idiot! People are going to be asking me about it later! UGH! OF COURSE THEY'RE HOLDING THEIR BREATH! I mean god, the quiet kid yelling? Who wouldn't want that juicy gossip?' I rested my arms and head on the railing and tried to focus on the breeze instead of my negative thoughts.
