Selfishness

Sacrifice – they say

and give it to me

Your life, your play

And when you fight

and turn away

they spend the night

calling you names

Selfish

a monster

Piggish

uncaring

You don't care

for others needs

why should I dare

To stand up and fight

armies of light

to pursue my right

To life

To liberty

And the pursuit of happiness

If that is bad

if it makes you mad

Ill do what I will

in life

And never stand still

I plead my case

innocent as charged

Life is a race

Suffer the grind

Fight those lines

Victory of the mind
