Chapter 2

6 months later (Present time)

Raising my blades slightly, I walked through the empty cold corridor.

All the lights in the corridor kept flickering and the white marble floors were now red with blood from all the dead bodies scattered around.

I passed the whole corridor without facing a single soul and reached the elevators. The camera above it turned and focused on me so I gave it a nod. Then the elevator doors, that were in a lockdown, opened up with a ding. I entered and pressed the seventh floor button.

You must be wondering what the hell is going on? Well let me tell you all about it.

Like I said, that I will destroy ICE and free the children they are keeping captive, so here I am now.

After escaping this shitty place six months ago, my friends and I went back to Jax's old house. He used to live there with his family, but when we went back we only found one person. His younger brother, who was not so young anymore.

Max, who was only seventeen when Jax was taken away, was now twenty-two. He still lived at there old place, hoping that one day Jax might show up again. And then he finally did. So imagine Max's reaction at seeing him back after five years.

While the brothers bonded with each other, we took Carly inside and I was left with the responsibility of taking care of her leg. Although I had never done this before but everyone just assumed that since I got the brain, I am fit for this and any other job. However, I did manage to save her somehow without any medical experience.

After that, as the time passed on, we all utilised our days and nights to rebuild ourselves and focus on our abilities.

I took this time to plan how to stop ICE. I locked myself in a room, away from everyone, zoned in on what I wanted to do and after months of plotting, planning and practicing I finally got ready to fight. And I made sure others were too.

Just this morning, Carly managed to hack into ICE base. Again. Them and their shitty management never learn. They numbered all of their facilities in ascending order according to from best to least.

No wonder our facility got the fifth and the last number.

Anyway, moving on...

We disguised ourselves as the van drivers and went along driving their vans inside the premises.

Although fingerprints are required as a proof that you are an authorised member before you go in, but it was not really much of a problem for us since I had Carly put our fake information and fingerprints in their system just this morning.

Once we got inside the main entrance, we spread out according to the plan.

I went towards the first camera I found by the gates of the building and motioned for Carly to do her part at the right time.

She was supposed to lock this place down so that no extra guards or any other type of security can enter the building and no staff can leave. The windows and doors and elevators etc, will only open at her command so that's how we will be getting out.

I gave Zen the task of doing what he's good at, planting bombs in record time without getting caught.

On the other hand, Britt and Rosa were supposed to go down in the basement, where all the children were having their weekly hangout, and get them out before everything falls apart.
