Mazzy's POV

I can't believe people survive in this temperature! I've been away for 5 years and it has changed, a lot.

But of course, the traffic, its been here since I was young.

At ako?

I'm searching for my driver.

" Maam! Maam! Maam Mazzy?! " A guy with a bald spot on the top of his head was waving his arms

I took off my shades and placed them in my purse.

" Maanong Alvin? " sabi ko na nakangiti

" Ah eh ako nga ho, akin na iyang bag mo at ilagay ko na sa kotse "

" Bag pa talaga inuna niyo? Eh ako di niyo namiss? " He was our family driver since I was a child I treated him as my father rather than my biological one.

" Oh siya sge " He opened the compartment and I put my luggage in.

I didn't bring much, I just brought a couple of clothes for my job in the Philippine branch of the company I'm working on. I'll just be supervising and helping for atleast three months.

And kung minalas ba dito pa sa Pilipinas.

Back then after I graduated, I applied as a chemist in all Oil and Gas international comapanies, that had high salary and a well reputation.

Many instantly hired me but one caught my attention.

And it was in the country of my dreams, London.

Good thing that I studied well rather than my batch mates back in college slacking their asses off getting laid and dated here and there.

But I had one friend, the only person I can trust my life and darkest secrets and flaws.

I don't have a choice, I don't own any condos here. I also can't find an apartment.

I just put on my shades and plugged in my earphones not to bother anyone who treats me like rubbish.

Maids opened the door, revealing my parents on their wine bar. Watching television as usual with their beloved daughter.

I went in with all my pride not bothering to have their attention.

As I was about to go on the staircase dear old mother spoke.
