Mazzy's POV
I sat down in a chair infront of his desk. He opened his laptop and pressed the remote of the Powerpoint he prepared.
He described the highs and lows in their past year.
" So for January until May we hit the charts beyond the roof but since June until now it seems tha- "
" Mr. Harrison I do believe that the past should be forgotten... don't you agree? "
"Pardon? Mazzy- .. I mean Ms. Mazikeen I believe that topic is not relevant in th-" His facial expression turned from cold to hot coal
" That's why I was sent here to get this branch on the right track, forget the past ratings and focus on the present and the future."
He somehow felt relieved that it wasn't what he thought I meant.
I just smirked.
" I just simply need to know the flaws of your team, what makes your performance suddenly down to the ground?"
" Well the former Chemist somehow, miscomputated the amounts and formulas of the oils and gases an- ... Let's just say she wasn't a great chemist " He said in a stern voice and coldness can be easily felt.
" Hmm... I see.. but, I do believe the CEO which ofcourse is your job. Should know the information and background of your employees " I said , crossed my arms then leaned back on my seat
" And I take full responsiblity on that.. error. That's why I called for help on the main branch.. and they sent you "
He said and looked at me straight in the eyes. I couldn't stand any minute longer with him
" Ok then, thats all I need to know, for now. I just need the copies of the former chemist and look at her errors" I said and stood up holding my purse
" Sure, they're already in your office that my secretary fixed for you "
" Thank you Mr. Harrison. I'll see you tomorrow on what time-? "
I said and gestured my hand
He didn't quite get it at first but he then snapped into reality and stood up and accepted my hand to a handshake
" 9:00 in the morning and- thank you Ms. Mazikeen in lending a hand "
I let go of his hand, smiled then left his office.
Uh I forgot to bring my hand sanitizer.
As I closed the door the cheery Joyce greeted me , again.
" Punta na tayo sa office mo? " How can this girl smile all the time
I just nodded in approval we walked along the hallway then she opened the door that was 2 rooms away from his office. Great.
She opened the door revealing pastel pink colored walls and white furniture with a white desk, engraved with golden outlines...
Gross.
The old Mazzy is gone
I prefer Mazikeen better.
" Ang ganda ano Maam? Sabi po kasi ni Sir paboritong kul- ay punyemas. Sige maam maiwan ko na po kayo. " then she left the room quickly
I just chuckled. He thinks I haven't change?

I took my phone from the purse and dialed Evonne.
" Yes? Hello? Re-do and Repaint? "
" HAYOP KANG BABAE KA BA'T NGAYON KA LANG TUMAWAG? "
" Sorry Evonne looks like Destiny is playing it's part again " I said on the phone while taking the files and documents on the desk.
" Tumigil ka sa pag english mong babae ka ba't ka tumawag? At ngayon lang?!"
" Papunta ako dyan sa office mo, I need your help in this terrible...room "
" Di pa ako naliligo jusko, sige see you Mazzy " only her can call me Mazzy, then she ended the call.
I left the room and went in the elevator. It opened revealing the lobby and the clerk. I approached the lady on the counter.
" Excuse me , Um yeah.. perhaps later this evening there'll be a group who'll fix my office "
" At sino ba naman kayo maam? " she asked me in a bitchy tone.
" Ms. Mazikeen E. Gonzales, do we have a problem miss? "
She typed it in her computer then her eyes widened and gulped.
" U-uh wala po Maam Mazikeen. I'll give them ID's to enter the premises, sorry " she said and bowed her head.
" Thankyouuuuuu" I ended our chitchat in the most ear irritating manner I could .
I left the building at sinalubong agad ako ni Manong Alvin.
Pinagbuksan niya ako nang pinto at sumakay na ako
" Uwi na po ba Maam? "
" Ah hindi po punta tayo sa bahay ni Evonne "
" Ah eh si Evonne? Matagal na kayong di nagkikita nun. "
" Oo nga po, miss ko na yung bruhang yon"
Tumawa nalang si manong at pinaandar ang kotse. Siya kasi palaging nag hahatid sundo sakin kanila Evonne, dati noong highschool.
Maya-maya pa huminto na ang kotse.
The same old house that I treated as home , and Evonne was rushing towards me, my bestfriend that is like a sister to me.
" Waaahhh Mazzzyyyy " sabi niya nang maluhaluha
Magkayakap kami na parang ewan sa gilid nang kalsada na nangingiyak-iyak.
" Tigil na Evonne para tayo ditong ewan " sabi ko habang pinupunasan mata ko
Pumasok na kami sa bahay niya at tumuloy sa kwarto niya.
" Nasaan sila tito? "
" Ah may pinuntahan sila si mama wav mo na yun pakialaman. Ba't ka tumawag? Anong ipapaayos mo?"
" Yung office ko sa branch dito sa pilipinas, It's simply not my type.. anymore. "
Pinagusapan na namin na palitan ung walls to pastel gray at ang isa naman may design na minimalist. Papalitan rin yung mini sofa nang black leather.
" Eh yung desk mo? "
" Its's white with gold engravings, its the only thing that I liked in that room ".
" Naks naman nakaka nosebleed ka na ha " sabi niya habang tumatawa
" May di pa pala ako sinasabi.."
"Eh ano naman yun"
" Yung CEO dun sa branch dito sa pilipinas.. eh si .. Toby "
Napanganga sya and there was a minute long akward silence
" Toby? as in.. Toby Kai Harrison?! "
" Sadly yes " I said and chuckled
" Don't worry, I'm doing fine " dagdag ko pa
" Buti naman... kung hindi makakakuha yon nang sapak sakin"
