A new member

My grand dad was a very kind person. He didn't believe in a particular religion. He always said one thing that he saw god in people. Thus he believed helping people is as serving the all mighty god. I also admired his thinking a lot. I lived with my grand dad, mother, father and my little brother. We had a very happy family. One night, my little brother brought his friend "mike" to our house.
At first, He was supposed to stay for a night. But my grand dad insisted him to stay longer. But as days passed, He had become an influential member in the family. He had some decent cooking skills; used to make breakfast and dinners for us, and also help my little brother in studies. We all loved him so much and regarded him as part of the family. But as time went he started acting weird. At times, He seems fearful and worried. His happy face has been dried out. He would even leave the house in the middle of night. If we asked, he looked clumsy and would answer something like his friend is very sick or he promised to help friend. His actions seems unusual as his reasons were not pre informed. We couldn't figure out the mysterious cause behind his drastic change in behaviour. As previous nights, One night he left the house at mid night. But this time he didn't return back. As my family was obsessed with him; we tried our best to find whereabouts of him but ended up empty handed. As days past my family started living normally. However as My brother and grand pa were so close to him; My grand pa still kept a warmth place for him in heart. However, My brother started hating him for being irresponsible and selfish as he left family for no reason it seemed.
