The hour had just turned to seven pm when Jeon Jungkook arrived at the villa his best friend called his home. They had been planning this party for a good month now, and they had to make sure everything was perfect. They had a reputation to uphold after all.

"When will the wine will get here?" Jungkook asked the woman on the other side of the phone. Being the heir of a winery had its perks, and he had taken it upon himself to provide high-quality wine for the event. The car rolled in through the gates, and Jungkook saw his friend standing at the front door with a grin on his face.

"I'll call you later, make sure they're here before nine, yeah bye," The boy hung up without caring to hear the employee's answer, and turned his attention to Taehyung, greeting him with a smile.

"How's everything going?"

"Bartender and DJ are setting up as we speak. The girls got the couches and stuff placed, all we gotta do is wait for the people to show up," Taehyung replied, leading his friend into the house where two bottles of beer awaited them. "You got the stuff?"

"Of course," Jungkook grinned, tapping the pocket where the bag of cocaine sat and Taehyung returned his smile, sipping on the beer that sat in front of him. Pregaming was a must for the two.

The four-acre Kim estate consisted of a four-bedroom villa, and a large yard, surrounded by a ten foot gated wall. At a time, Taehyung and both his parents lived there, but it had been eleven years since his mother had stepped foot in it. Even now, Taehyung was alone more often than not, and this was just as true for his mother's house.

Taehyung walked around the house, making sure everything was running smoothly before making his way to the front yard where groups of people were socializing. In a hidden corner, a couple had already begun to seek privacy from the crowds, and Taehyung only smiled at the display.

"Taehyung! How are you?" A blonde girl wearing blue a dress that was far too short to be considered a dress pulled him out of his thoughts.

"I'm great, thanks," He kissed her cheek, a hand on her lower back." Come on in, make sure you see Hyunsik he'll whip you up a little something." Taehyung pointed towards the bartender and she giggled, running towards the drinks.

Kim Taehyung was Roseacre University's very own Jay Gatsby. With parents that were barely ever there, he never missed the opportunity to throw a party. Few really knew him, but all prayed for an invitation to his parties.

He made his way through the dancing bodies, and finally reached the couch where his best friend was seated, pulling his credit card out of his wallet. In front of him, on the glass table, was a pile of finely milled cocaine just waiting to be inhaled.

"Another one?" the younger man called out over the music with a nod and Taehyung smiled a rectangular grin. The latter rolled up the bill he had retrieved from his wallet as Jungkook sorted the powder into thin lines, rubbing the residue from the card's edge into his gums. Moments later, rolled bills had been aligned to noses and the ends of lines, and the two had quickly inhaled the powder. Taehyung sat up, brushing the leftovers from his nose and giggled as the lines he had taken before walking to the door began to kick in, his vision sharpening at the edges and a rush of energy jolting through his veins.

It didn't take long for the most recent inhalation to take effect, and soon enough the music blaring through the speakers felt like it was emanating from his very pores. It was a dancehall track that had the partygoers grinding ass to crotch and Taehyung swore he could hear people's thoughts. Whatever Jungkook's dealer had given him had to be the real deal—this was way more intense than the cut stuff.
