Mason was miserable with Harlem. They hadn't talked in a month. No Matter how much she tried to explain herself to him. She decided to block him. Yes she blocked him because she saw he wasn't going to text back and she didn't want to seem desperate anymore.
She gave up completely. She still saw him around campus. He's always with a different girl. She knew they were broken up but he didn't have to throw the fact that he was moving on in her face. She stopped looking all together. She didn't even glance his way.
Mason had texted him a lot telling her side of the story and if he didn't want to believe her that was on him. She would just go on with her life. She was still sad. She was deeply in love with Harlem.
"Aye! Watch were you going. " She turned around to see Harlem with some girl. She quickly moves and walks the other way.
"That girl is weird." She hears the girl say.
"Mmmuh." Is all Harlem says looking back at mason.
Breaks mason heart that he's acting like this. She didn't know the beef between him and his brother ,but now she didn't have to worry about it. Harlem didn't want her in his life anymore so mason would have to keep it pushing. She promised she wouldn't be a push over anymore.

Mason was at work. She had recently gotten a job because she wanted a little money on the side to help pay for collage. She worked at journeys and loved it so far.
She heard the door thing ring.
"Hello welcome to journeys." She says smiling then her smile drops when she sees it's Harlem. He doesn't say anything. He just looks at her then goes towards some shoes.
"Wussup man." Her co-worker says. Harlem looks at him and nods.
"Can I help you? What size you want them in ?" Harlem looks at mason and she quickly looks away going to the back.
Her Co-worker comes back there.
"Aye do me a favor and take these to that dude. He got some big a feet." He says laughing. Mason knew. You know what that means big feet big dick. Which was true Harlem was blessed.
"Uh Yeah." Mason knew she couldn't say no. It was her first real day she couldn't say no to her manger.
"Here you go." She says quietly handing the shoes to Harlem.
"When you get a job?" She looks around.
"Oh um not important. Do they fit?" She says looking away crossing her arms. She felt awkward at the moment. Her ex boyfriend was sexy. Harlem smirks.
"Damn that's how you talk to a customer? Ion like that attitude." He says chuckling.
"Sorry sir." She says trying to pretend like she didn't know him.
"Don't do that." He says sighing.
"I'm sorry ? I don't know what -"
"Don't act like you don't know me. Don't act like you haven't had sex with me or -" mason cuts him off.
"That's not - Look never mind Harlem. Look you said you never wanted to see me again. You don't return my calls or texts. I stooped aren't you happy ? I'm staying away from you." She says sighing. "Now can they fit or not?" Harlem smirks.
"I see your taking up for yourself. Nah though." He says getting up.
"No they don't fit?" She says taking the box.
"No I don't want you to give up on me."
"I have to go Harlem." She says
"Unblock me kid." He says yelling as she walks away.
Mason got off at 11 pm and she was about to call her friend to pick her up when she hears a honk. She looks up to see Harlem letting down his window.
"Get in let's talk." She looks at him a bit.
"No. I'm staying out of your life." She says crossing her arms. Harlem chuckles.
"Get the fuck in the car mason. It's 11pm at night and your not about to wait for nobody when I'm here. Don't fucking play with me." He says glaring at her.
"I don't know what makes you think you can boss me around." She grumbles getting in the car.
"You got in though." He says pulling off.
"Only because I didn't feel like waiting. I didn't even want to take a ride from my ex." Harlem almost stop the car.
"Your what ?!" He says looking at her like she's crazy.
"Harlem... I know you didn't think we was together. We haven't talked in a month and I spot you with countless girls." Harlem laughs.
"Nah I just needed time to think ... Ian cheat on you or none. Them broads just keep trying to walk me to class. It wasn't even like that mason." He says trying to grab her hand but she snatched away.
"No Harlem. We're broken up. You literally through me out of your house. I don't know what's going on with you and your brother but -"
"Fine I'll tell you. I just - I don't know. I don't want to lose you. I'll tell you anything you want to know.
"Fine tell me everything that happen between you two." Harlem sighs.
