He looked at the knife one last time, before-

"IZUKU I'M HOME!"

No response.

"Izuku?" Inko walked towards Midoriya's bedroom, when she passed the bathroom, saw a piece of paper on the floor that said 'For Mom'. When she opened it she was in tears.

Goodbye

It was only one word, but Inko knew what it meant. She tried to open the door but it was locked.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, this can't be happening, my baby Izuku!" She cried while banging on the door. It was no use though, she barely made a dent. So she did the next best thing. She pulled out her phone and dialed 9-1-1.

"9-1-1, what's your emergency?"

"Yes, hello my son locked himself in the bathroom, and he left a note near the door saying goodbye. I think he's trying to commit suicide!"

"Ok ma'am calm down. What's your name, and where do you live."

"M...my name is Inko Midoriya. I live on Third street, in the Addison apartments. My room number is 409. Please come quick!"

"Ok ma'am I'm sending a police care and an ambulance. They'll be there in five minutes or less."

"Thank you so much." Inko hung up and waited by the door crying to herself.

Knock Knock Knock

"Miss Inko Midoriya? Are you there, this is the police."

Inko ran towards the door and opened it. She led the officers to the bathroom door.

"You said the door was locked, right?" One of the officers asked the poor lady. Inko nodded in response. One of the men pulled out a crowbar to pry the door open. When the door opened they were all horrified.

It all looked normal, unless you looked at the bathtub. There sat a pale boy with green hair and dull green eyes. Blood flowing out of his arms, neck, and chest. The water he sat in was completely red. He held the bloody knife in his wobbly hands. He was crying and mumbling words to himself.

"Iz... Izuku?" Inko choked out. He turned his head to look at his mom.

"Why can't I just die?"
