You woke up, got dressed and ready to leave for your first day of your new school. When you walked to the door you noticed an envelope on the floor. No adress on it. You opened it and you thought nothing was in it, so you threw it in the bin. After you threw it away, you heard Jack calling with someone. You couldn't hear what it was about.
You didn't talk to Jack since the... the thing that happened yesterday. And you're glad you two didn't talk. You were not in the mood at all. You were anxious about the first day on your new school. Will the people in your class like you? What will the teachers think? Do you look weird? All those questions went through your head. You decided to take a deep breath and just go for it.
You walked into the school and were welcomed by a strong smell of sweaty clothes and deodorant. You didn't know why, but then you noticed something. On your right, a big group of football players angrily ran towards you. You panicked, even though you knew they weren't coming for you. They were so close to you...
But then, you got pushed aside just before the football players could touch you. You watched as the angry guys were screaming in the hallway, furious about how they lost. After they disappeared, you looked up to who pushed you away. He was hanging above you, faces almost touching. You recognised his clothing style immediately.
"Stanford!" you said, "thank you so much for pushing me away..."
"Heh, no problem." he said blushing.
You both looked each other in the eyes, forgetting that Stanford was basically laying on top of you right now.
"Maybe eh... Maybe we should stand up." you whispered after a while.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Stanford stood up and reached his hand out, you grabbed his hand and he pulled you up.
"I-its nice to see you again." Stanford said soft while putting his glasses back in place. He was shy again, so cute.
"Yeah, it really is." you said agreeing with him. "Could you help me get to my class? I'm new here, I don't know where to go."
"Of course!" Stanford said, "What's your first subject?"
"Let me see. It's Chemistry."
"Mine too! Do we have the same classes? Show me your schedule." Stanford said.
"Cool! We follow a lot of classes together. Everything except math, Spanish and acting classes."
You walked with Stanford guiding you the way and showing you some stuff in the school. After all the classes were over, you decided to go to your dorm together to get to know each other more.
When you unlocked the door, you saw your roommate, obviously drunk, frustrated searching everywhere, throwing stuff on the ground.
"Who's that?" Stanford asks a bit weird.
"That's... that's my roommate. Jack." you sighed.
As soon as you said his name, he looked at you
"YOU!" he yelled, he walked over to you making big steps, you stepped backwards a bit. You were stumbled by his sudden actions.
"Wh-what?" you said, obviously scared. Stanford was following his every step, making sure Jack wouldn't touch you.
"WHERE IS IT?" he spat out.
"Where is what?" I said even softer.
"THE FUCKING ENVELOPE, YOU BITCH! I KNOW YOU HAVE IT!"
His language literally scared you. You couldn't think straight, so you forgot the envelope was in the bin.
"I-I don't know.." you were whispering.
"YOU DON'T KNOW? LYING AREN'T WE?" he walked away, grabbed a empty bottle that was before filled with beer, and threw it right at you. You screamed, but Stanford pulled you towards him, making the bottle hit the wall instead of you. You quickly hugged him, not knowing what else to do. You felt Stanford putting his arms around you too.
"What the heck is your problem?" Stanford said quite loud.
"My fucking envelope! There was important information in there and I know for a fucking fact that she has it!" he pointed at me.
"The envelope is in the trashcan! I threw it away because I thought it was empty!" you said quickly, burying your face in his shirt again. You felt his arms hug you tighter.
You heard him running away to the kitchen and quickly threw over the trashcan. He grabbed the envelope and walked towards you again, feeling Stanfords arms hugging you even tighter.
"Don't you ever, EVER touch shit that's not yours again. You heard me?" he said frustrated.
You quickly nodded without looking at him.
"Good. Don't bother me. I have important stuff to do." He walked into his room, slammed the door shut and started calling again.
"No way you're staying here tonight." Stanford said, obviously pissed off. "Is there anyone in the neighbourhood you can sleep over by? I'm going to inform the school about this. You're in serious danger if he keeps doing this."
"N-no..." you sniffed softly. You looked at him with your watery eyes for a second, and breaking contact again before finishing your sentence. "I'm new here, remember?"
"Listen," he said, rubbing your back. "I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable in any way, but if you don't know anyone here, you'll have to stay with me tonight."
