One thing I should’ve learned forever ago is that sorcerers are terrible parts of the monarchy, flat out. They should especially not be advisors, and shouldn’t be trusted when the ruling monarch or monarchs are sick or weak. Unfortunately, Mom and Dad hadn’t noticed that, and now here I was, traveling with an aristocrat and a talking amulet to stop said sorcerer.

How did this happen?

Glad you asked, because I guess I was starting you off a little… queerly.

Before we begin, I’d like to clarify that my parents didn’t know that I was a princess when I was born. In other words, I am trans. I am also a pansexual, which means I’m attracted to all genders.

No, this is not a story of self acceptance. I am perfectly fine with myself. My country is also fine with me. My country is very relaxed about terms on various orientation, so there are quite a few political figures who are either not straight or not cis.

Now that I’ve got that settled, we can begin the actual story.
