Idk if I made this clear but Charlie is female
Charlie parked her car in the schools parking lot, hopping out of the car and going to the front gates to meet Lili.
"Finally you're here, I wanted to talk to you about something."
"Hey Lil, what is it?"
"Okay so I kind of wanted to ask Oliver on a date, when do you think I should do it?"
"Well, how about right now?"
Charlie looked over to the boy who was standing by the water fountain, she waved at him as she shyly waved back."Go talk to him Lili, he would probably love to go on a date with you."
"Yeah, I think I will, bye Char."
Lili waved as she casually strolled to Oliver, leaving Charlie by herself. Charlie sighed as she walked into the building, she was headed to her first class until she bumped into someone, knocking them both over. Charlie rubbed her head as she slowly began picking up her things, not even looking up to see who she bumped into.
"I am SO sorry, I should've watched where I was going."
"It's fine, don't worry about-"
She cut herself off as she had looked up to see the new girl sitting in front of her, she was much prettier closer up. The girl only smiled as she helped Charlie pick up her things. The two stood up together as she chuckled nervously.
"Oh yeah, I should probably introduce myself, my names Rain."
Rain held her hand out for Charlie to shake.
"Charlie."
Charlie introduced herself as she shook the girls hand, the contact made her feel something, something different, she felt as if she already felt a connection.
"What's your schedule, maybe I can help you, because I'm guessing you don't know where any of your classes are."
"Oh, I have English first, with Mr. Anderson."
"I have his class too, I'll take you there."
"Cool, thanks."
The two began to walk to their first class together. For whatever reason, Charlie already felt connected with Rain. The two stepped inside the classroom as the teacher came over to them.
"Hi, I'm guessing you're Rain, our new student."
"Yep, that's me."
Rain spoke in a cheery tone."Okay, well you can go sit next to Charlie over there."
Rain nodded as she walked over to her seat and sat down, Charlie gave her a smile as she pulled her binder out from her backpack. Charlie watched as Rain did the same.
"So, where'd you move from?"
"Oh, I came from Oregon."
"Cool, that's uh, really cool, so, why'd you move."
"There's just something I'm supposed to do here."
"Like what?"
"Well I can't tell you that, it's a secret."
"Oh, so like a secret mission?"
The two of them chuckled at Charlie' comment.
