Izuku x "depressed" reader

Your POV:

Yay... god I hate school sometimes, yeah becoming a super hero and all is cool, but it's tiring.

I continue walking down the hall lost in thought. "Hey Y/N!" I flinch and stumble back, "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare y-you..." I look up to see none other than broccoli head. "Izuku? Oh it's ok, it was my fault. I was lost in thought." His worried face eases, "oh, w-well that's good I guess." He smiles, I smile in return brightly.

Izuku POV:

Heh... she's so cute when she smiles, I wish she'd do it more often then that scowl she always holds.

"What w-were you thinking about?" I questioned tilting my head, she graced an uncomfortable look on her face before responding. "Uhm food? Yeah I was thinking about food." It didn't sound convincing but I played along, "oh okay, speaking of food. W-would y-you like to... come... w-with m-me... to... get... b-breakfast?" I nervously speak, "oh sure, I'd love too." She once again smiles which makes my heart flutter with joy.

~after eating~

I watch as she walks back from throwing some of her food in the bin, she didn't eat much...

"Heya!" She smiles and waves at me, I smile back.

"So... you didn't eat much of that. Do you not like it?" I fidgeted with my hands a little. "Ah, no I liked it. I just wasn't hungry that's all." She spoke rather quickly and nervously, I noticed that her wrists look kinda thin and her face seems more pale. "Do you usually do that with your food?" I questioned, "do what?" She poked my cheek sitting back down. "Not finish your food." I brought a more serious tone to which she frowned to. "Oh... well sometimes." She looked away scratching the back of her neck. 'I want to help...' "well try not to, it's not good to skip off all that food. You need it." Then glancing at me she softly spoke, "Oh Deku, always worrying, I'm fine." She smiles poking her own cheeks, "see? No worries." I continue to watch her fake everything. 'Why won't you let me in?' She stood up, "I better get going, class starts soon. Catch you later." She didn't wait for an answer before walking off through the groups of people, leaving me alone. "Bye Y/N..." I whispered.

~later on in the day~

Your POV:

I slipped onto the roof sitting quietly after classes finished. "Why..." I held my head. "Why do I feel like this... I feel like I'm drowning, like I keep sinking lower as it gets darker, people walking above but all they do is look down in disgust... thinking I'm faking my struggle. I want someone to reach down, grab my hand and pull me out... but I can't... I'm stuck here, drowning inside of myself. Like I've stopped but the whole world keeps going." I tear up and before long I break down in sobs, hugging my knees close to my chest.

"Y/N?" I turn round wiping my tears, only to see Izuku. "A-ah I- sorry..." I keep wiping them but all they do is keep coming, rolling down my S/C skin...

Suddenly I felt arms around me, "w-what are you doing?..." he tightens around me. "I heard everything..." I choke up and begin to break down more as he sits down with me and cradles me in his arms. "Shhh it's ok, it's ok... I got you. I'll help you... I'll take your hand." He takes one of my hands and intertwines our fingers lightly. "I love you..." he whispers by my ear. I can't help anymore but hug him closely until my breathing slows down. "D-Deku..." he cuts me off, "Izuku. Call me Izuku." I nod and let him hold me for at least another hour, he holds me closely but not too tight.

We continue to stare up at the stars, "we're gonna be in trouble." I say, he sighs, "don't worry about it. It'll be fine." He speaks. I nod a little and lean back into him, relaxing till I fall asleep.

'I love you too...'

Ok I'm done finally. This took way too long to get out hah, I've been struggling with inspiration but this time it's ok. Well I guess better start the next one.
