He's so hot. I sigh as I scroll through Will's Facebook pictures. I'm on my stomach on my bed on my laptop. The heat is on so its not unbearably cold in the house so I'm wearing black short spandex and a white tank top and no show white socks. My hair is up in a messy bun.

It's the same day and all my friends are sleeping over later.

I really want to talk about that damn kiss...

Collin is tossing a football with his friends in the backyard and Mom is in the kitchen making lunch.

I remember as a kid I would tell her everything. I used to tell her, "the cute boy looked at me on the bus today, Mommy."

I bite my lip at a picture of Will, Tyler, and Vince, all shirtless, in the summer at a pool party.

Will is so fucking sexy. His stomach muscles are so hot and there's water on his body from the pool. His biceps are flexed and I can just imagine them moving as he holds himself above me, his lips on my neck...

Goosebumps cover my skin and I shudder.

God, I need to go to church.

I exit the page and shut my laptop. I slide out of my door and trek down the stairs. The staircase is right in the kitchen. I go and join Mom, tapping my fingers on the counter in silence.

"I um...have to tell you something." I say. She looks up from the bowl of cake batter that she's mixing and wipes her hands on her apron.

"Okay..." She says carefully.

"Me and Will..." Her eyes widen and I see the start of a smile on her lips. I fiddle with my fingers. "We kissed..."

She gasps. "You did?"

I nod hesitantly. "Yes."

"And?" She presses.

"It felt..." I bite my lip and a grin spreads across her lips. "Good...tingly and warm and..." I shrug, a blush creeping up on my cheeks.

"Do you like him?" She asks, going back to mixing the bowl.

"He's hot!" I blurt. She laughs. "And he's really sweet and he's so..." I hesitate. "I like him..." I look at her. She's smiling at the bowl she's mixing.

"Was it like a little peck..."

"The first one was...the second was was...not."

Collin walks in the house with his friends, Jason, Andrew, and Marcus.

"Why are you blushing?" Collin asks.

"I'm not." I snap.

"Yes you are." He says.

"She's blushing because she was telling me about her first kiss."

He grabs the gallon of milk and takes a long swig from it. "You and Will kissed?"

I shrug, looking away.

"I'm going over there. Dad isn't here to threaten him."

"No Collin, he's not here anyways." I lie.

He sighs and puts the milk back in the fridge and then heads to the living room.

My house is actually small, but I love it.

You walk in the door and you're in the living room, but you can see the kitchen window right in front of you. To your right is the living room and then a little hallway. There is two doors directly across from each other. On the left side there is a little half bathroom and on the right side there is a small room that Mom turned into a study.

In the kitchen, which is right in front of you, there is a staircase on the left wall. You go up the stairs and you enter a little second living room that we never use, and then there is a hall in front of you. On the left side there is a two doors that opens into my room and Collin's. There's a bathroom in mine, and right across from there is two doors. One opens to Mom's room and the other opens to a little half bathroom that Mom uses as her bathroom.

It's small but really cute.

"Did you make out?" Mom whispers, reminding me why I came down here in the first place.

I shake my head. "No..."

She frowns, but doesn't say anything else.

I wake up at three in the morning to the sound of my window opening and closing. My friends are in here and they wake up too.

I tense completely. Someone turns on my light, and my mouth opens and closes in horror.

It's that teenage boy, the ghost, the one that tried to kill me.

"Don't scream guys." He whispers. My friends look like they're going to pass out.

My voice is caught in my throat. I sit up, terrified.

"I know you're scared." He whispers. "I know my family and I tried to kill you Harper, but I need your guys' help."
