Taehyung sat in his apartment, drinking a cup of coffee. He had texted Yoongi a few times but he never responded.

Taehyung sighed and walked over to the kitchen dumping out the coffee and cleaning the mug, and putting it away. He walked over to his small cat that was sleeping on the couch and softly scratched behind its ear. The tv played at a low volume and a cool breeze made its way through the apartment.

"Hm... maybe I should call him...?" he thought out loud. He grabbed his phone and clicked Yoongi's contact and pressed the dial. The phone rang for a few seconds.

"H-hello?" The voice was soft and sweet. Sleepy. Taehyung's breath hitched. "Taehyung?" Yoongi spoke getting the youngest attention.

"Ah, Yoongi! I just wanted to call and see if you were free today?" He asked. This wasn't why Taehyung called but hey? Beats having a boring over-the-phone conversation.

The phone was silent for a few moments, "I have work today but I get off around three... is that too late?"

"No! That's a good time!" Taehyung assured. "Would you like to go out for dinner at around 5?"

The phone was silent for a few moments "I-I actually can't... Wonjae wanted to take me out tonight. Maybe another time..." a door could be heard opening on Yoongi's end "I have to go- bye."

Taehyung hummed an okay. They ended the call and the younger was disappointed, to say the least. He plopped down on the couch and stared at the ceiling.

He rubbed his face and bit his bottom lip. Taehyung thought of something crazy. Taehyung got up and got ready quickly. He ruffled his blonde hair and grabbed his things.

Taehyung rummaged through his pockets before his fingers felt a small paper box and a lighter, he pulled them out and placed a cigarette between his lips, lighting it. He inhaled and exhaled, the bitter taste coating his mouth. He walked down the street, noticing little things people would do. Before he knew it he was he was at the bakery. He dropped the cigarette to the ground and stepped on it to put it out. Taehyung took a small breath before opening the door and walking through.

The store was quiet, there was a familiar dark-haired man leaning on the counter. "Taehyung!" Jimin stood up straight "What can I get ya?" he chirped.

"Is Yoongi here?" Taehyung asked with a charming smile.

Jimin tilted his head "Yeah, do you want me to get him?"

"Well I was wondering if you could do me a favor..." The blonde started "I wanted to take him out tonight but he said he had other plans-"

"You want to take him on a date?" Jimin smirked.

"Well let's just say I wanna hang out with him, not a date. He has a boyfriend doesn't he?" Taheyung asked.

Jimin shrugged "Just 'cuz there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score" he chuckled and sighed, rubbing the back of his neck "Plus I don't exactly like his boyfriend. You seem like a good guy though."

"T-Thank you" Taehyung was taken back a bit by what Jimin had said.

Jimin disappeared to the back room and dragged Yoongi upfront.

"What the hell- Taehyung?" Yoongi asked confused.

"Hi- you wanna go hang out?" Taehyung asked with a big smile.

Yoongi furrowed him brows, "I'm in the middle of work"

"No you're not. I'm letting you off early today" Jimin countered. He dragged Yoongi around the counter and shoved him towards Taehyung "Go hang out with someone other than Wonjae."

Yoongi angrily took apron off and tossed it at Jimin. He grabbed Taheyung's arm and dragged him out of the bakery "What do you want?"

"Well honestly I didn't think I'd get this far" Taehyung laughed, giving his boxy smile. Yoongi caught himself blushing, he quickly looked away and tried to calm himself down.

Yoongi was nervous, he was scared Wonjae would pop into the bakery at any moment and ask where he was or call him or even worse, spot him with Taehyung.

"Why don't we go eat at that new barbecue place?" Taehyung suggested as he pulled his mask over his face.

"Sure why not" Yoongi shrugged.

Taehyung grabbed Yoongis hand and started walking with him. Taehyung didn't have a care in the world, he went on about little things he saw and whatever caught his attention. Yoongi couldn't pay attention. Not only was he out with a celebrity but he was scared that at any second Wonjae would spot him

"Uh- Do you have an extra mask?" Yoongi asked nervously. Taehyung didn't even question him, he dug through his pockets and pulled out a mask. Yoongi quickly put it on and felt a bit better, he thanked Taheyung, not realizing his hand still intertwined with the blondes.

"Do you feel better?" Taehyung asked, his hand squeezing Yoongis. The older nodded and took a deep breath.

Taehyung stole a side glance at Yoongi, wondering what was going through that pretty little head of his.

The two made their way towards the restaurant, Taehyung chatting off Yoongi's ear. Taehyung opened the door for him, letting Yoongi walk in first.

"Wow, it's nicer than I expected" Yoongi pulled his mask down, Taehyung doing the same.

A man approached them "Welcome to- Hey! You're that little punk from the bakery!" the older man shouted.

Yoongi was confused then scrunched his eyebrows "What the hell are you talking about, old man?"

The man huffed and put down the menus "Get out, I'm not about to be harassed in my own restaurant!" he grabbed Yoongi's arm. Yoongi shoved the man away roughly.

"Don't fucking touch me!" Yoongi stepped up to the man, his anger getting the best of him.

Taehyung quickly pulled Yoongi into him, Taehyung gave a smile to the man "I'm sorry, we were excited to eat here and it looks like a lovely place, but you're very rude and an asshole"

The old man seemed taken back at Taehyungs comment. Before he could even get a word out, the two left.

Yoongi was shaking "You didn't have to do that" he pushed Taehyung away.

"I just didn't want the situation to get out of hand-" Taehyung spoke softly. Yoongi bit at his bottom lip. He wanted to go home, he didn't even want to be here in the first place "Why don't we just grab some food from a street stand and walk around?" Taehyung suggested.

"I think I should go home" Yoongi looked away. They hadn't even been out that long and Yoongi didn't want to go home. He looked at Taehyung, he calmed down, and leveled his breathing "W-where else is there to go?"

Taehyung thought for a moment "Well, my friend owns a restaurant, we could go eat there?" Yoongi shrugged. Taehyung grabbed his hand and dragged him away.

A small smile found its way onto Yoongi's lips as his heart started to beat a bit faster in his chest.

Maybe today will be okay.
