when he says
"i love you."
the right thing to say
is "i love you too,"
because our words and thoughts
belong to the men.
for they are superior.
when he says,
"i want to have sex."
the right thing to say
is "well what are you waiting for?"
because men don't need consent.
because we don't own our bodies
they do.
for they are superior.
when he says
"clean this up for me."
the right thing to says is
"of course."
because we are only something to use
and discard.
we are used like plastic plates,
so we can be thrown away,
when you're done with your food.
and we'll have to do it ourselves!
because men don't do housework.
men don't clean,
men don't cook,
men don't iron clothes,
or vacuum the house,
or wash the dishes,
or mop the dirty floors,
full of our blood,
full of our sweat and tears,
he sees but will not ever act upon.
because men are superior.
in each and every way.
