underneath the hot sun
feeling like a someone
I was listening to my tune. the click of a button and it was on YouTube, where anybody could see it. my last video went viral, so it didn't take long for this one to do the same.
I close my eyes and lie back down on my doona.
The memories come back like a flood:
I am in the backseat of the car when i was 5, and the trees comes out of nowhere on the road. By the time the ambulance got there, it was to late to save my parents.
Then I saw the airport. It was when Zac left myself and auntie Margaret fro Australia to go on his own adventures and to learn new things.
The Rio Airport hasn't changed much since he left which was five years ago when i was 13.
I am now 18 and have a job and an absolutely viral YouTube account and these memories will stay with me forever.
When I opened my eyes, I felt hungry, so I went downstairs for some food.
In saw him before I went on the last step. He was standing at the bottom of the stairs, wearing dark blue denim jeans, a crisp, black leather jacket and on the back, the word 'SECURITY' stood out in white.
My breath got caught in my throat.
Oh no, what did I do?
A booming voice interrupted my thoughts, "ho, oh, oh, there she is, the next biggest thing, and she is prettier in person,"
Oh my god, DJ Khalid is in my living room sitting beside my Aunt.
"I was just talking to dear old Margaret here, that you will be opening my Paris show tonight, so we got to go, go, go if we want to get there on time,"
"um ... I-I, w-what a-about..." I stuttered for words. I took a deep breath in and out. "What about aunt Margaret?"
"oh, that's okay, she will be going to a state of the art old people home right here in Rio, so you can visit her whenever you want to."
ok, this is really happening
"So, when do we leave, because it will take a while to get to Paris, and if we need to get there tonight we would need to leave now." I said.
"oh ho, I like this girl even more then I did before, so lets get going. Liam show her to the car, Girly, I will see you there later, 'cause we will going on different planes, so go pack your bags."
So I went upstairs and packed my bags, went back downstairs and said goodbye to my aunt. when I walked out of the door I knew, that from now on, my life is forever changed.
