You and Denki had been dating for months. The two of you loved each other a lot actually! It seemed you two were almost inseparable. But deep down, Denki's insecurity ate at him. He felt that he didn't deserve you. Why? He knew very well that you loved him. But he couldn't help but think that maybe you didn't.

One day, after the two of you went to your separate dorms, you had no clue that on the way to his dorm, he began to cough. Soon, it got harsh enough that he had to use the wall for support. His eyes widened as he looked at the bloodied petals that fell from his mouth with each cough.

Denki had given himself Hanahaki Disease unintentionally by thinking you didn't really love him. But he couldn't tell you about this. You'd become worried or think he fell for some else who didn't love him. And that just wasn't true.

But you found out.

One day, while the two of you were hanging out, Denki began to cough pretty harshly. You looked at him worried before you swore you saw a flower petal. As you went to address it, Denki suddenly fell to his knees as he coughed up more bloodied flowers, only proving what you were going to say true.
