Nightmare's crew

     After many pleas to stay for a bit longer, Error opened another portal. After all, even as a cat, he still had a job. He jumped into the portal, and a scanner popped up in front of him. "UnderFell. Copy 124." He meowed boorishly. He heaved a little cat sigh. 'What is Ink's obsession with Underfell?' he questioned. 

     He sauntered around until he found the human. They had started a genocide run. 'Well. That makes my job easier.' He thought in his mind, blocking out the scream of the kid's latest victim. Error never truly 'enjoyed' Frisk's genocide runs. All it did was make his job easier. After the kid had dusted everyone in the underground, Error took his chance. He walked in front of the kid, sitting down. "Hm?" The Frisk questioned. They reached their hand out to Error. "Hey, Kitty-Kitty. Come here!" They beckoned. A frown crossed his face. 'Seriously?' Strings enveloped Frisk, causing a gasp. "Wh-What the heck?!" They questioned. The strings pulled their souls away, and Error sent it to stay with the rest.

Ink quickly went to the Underfell AU that was currently being destroyed. "Okay. What is destroying this AU?" He speed-walked around, trying to find any sign of life. There was none. As he neared the judgment hall, he heard the Underfell Sans of this world speaking. "A cat? Look cat, don't know how you got here, but you need to get out of here before that kid comes. You need to survive." He heard a meow, then the shattering of a soul. He rushed around the corner, only to see the Error look-alike cat. "Y-You again?" He stuttered, surprised. The cat hissed at him, opening a code, and deleting the AU from existence.

Error jumped out of the portal, landing back in the anti-void. 'What now?' He asked, walking towards his box of knitting supplies. 'Ah! I know! I probably should check on Nightmare and his group. Wonder how they're holding up.' He opened another glitched portal to Nightmare's castle, closing it behind him tightly. 'Wait!' He opened the portal again, stealing across the floor and biting onto the edge of the box with his sewing supplies. He dragged it to the portal, pulling it through, and closing it. He dragged the box all the way the castle's menacing doors, scratching against it. He heard a shout from the inside, "Dust get the door! I think Horror's acting like a cat again!"  Error looked up at the door when it was opened. "Uh...Boss? It's not Horror." Dust notified Nightmare, who walked over. "What. The F-" Nightmare started before he was interrupted by a meow. "They look so much like Error." Dust said in DUSTBELIEF (IM SO SORRY XD) Error bit onto the edge of the cardboard box with his supplies, pulling it inside.

     He pulled out a doll of himself, putting onto the ground. He looked at the three, Killer now have joined them, pointed to the doll, and then pointed to himself. He did it a few more times. "What's it trying to say?" Killer asked. Error let out a little cat sigh. 'They can't possibly be this dense.' He let out a glitched meow. He repeated the process, Pointing to the doll, pointing to himself. "Hey, what's going on?" Cross asked, walking towards the three. "This cat is pointing to a doll of Error, then to themselves." Killer explained. "They look like Error." Cross pointed out. 

     The glitched cat pointed to himself again, patting his chest, where his soul was. "Should we check it?" Dust asked. Nightmare nodded, checking the glitching cat.

The crew looked back at the cat. "Error?" Dust asked. The glitched cat lifted it's paw, waving at them. "No way," Killer whispered. "Wait. Error's a cat?" Cross asked. Error nodded his fluffy head. "...Prove it." Nightmare spat out. 'Really? Checking me wasn't enough?' He put his paws up to his eyes, dragging them down to reveal blue strings. The strings shot out, wrapping up Nightmare. A smug look crossed the cat's face. "Fine. It's Error." Nightmare said. 

"Error where were you?!"

"We heard you died!"

"Do you have any idea how worried they were?"

"What?! You were worried too!"

"Yah!"

Error sighed lightly. He looked up, noticing two extra figures. A ghost-like papyrus hovered over Dust's shoulder and X-tale Chara over Cross'. 'Huh. Cats can actually see ghosts.' 

"Cross. Error's staring at me. It's making me uncomfortable." Chara whispered. Cross looked over at Error, who was now looking over at Dust.

"SANS. ERROR CAT IS STARING AT ME." The papyrus alerted, Dust looked at Error. "Can you...see him?" He asked. Error nodded, motioning that he could also see Cross' Chara. Nightmare looked over at the three, "Wait, cats can actually see ghosts?" 

"That's Cool!" Killer shouted loudly. "DoN't yELl." He hissed, covering his ears. 

"Cross. Ghosts can understand cats. Well, all animals actually. I could translate, Dust paps too." Cross Chara spoke. Error's ears flicked. "Chara said that he and dust paps can understand Error." Cross said. Nightmare nodded. "In that case, tell us what happened." 

Glitched meows leaked from the cat's mouth for a few minutes, a few minutes of silence followed as Dust Paps and Cross Chara explained to Dust and Cross.

"Ok. So, Error was ambushed by Ink and like, a hundred different Sans'. He lost the fight, only because it wasn't part of his job to fight and kill people out of their AU's." Dust started, "He opened a portal to Outertale, and he laid there for a while. He eventually rolled off the cliff edge and into the void." Cross added on, "Wait, so you basically went to commit suicide?" Killer asked. Error nodded a bit awkwardly. "A-anyway, the void felt really...weird? He said that it felt like he was being stretched out, then put back together. Then he heard a voice." Dust spoke. "They told him that it would make his job easier and that they were sad that they couldn't let him escape." A chill went up Killer's spine. "And now he's a cat!" Dust finished. It was silent for a second. 

"Well...Welcome back ."
