We walked down the stairs and out to the backyard. Already, all of the pack members stood, chatting quietly as they waited for the meeting to start. We climbed onto the small, wooden stage, everyone immediately quieting down. I saw everyone's eyes fill with confusion at the sight of the gay Omega holding hands with the "straight", mateless Alpha. "Everyone, I have an announcement! First off, I have found my mate." Drew spoke into the microphone, his voice deep and filled with pride. Everyone cheered, before Drew silenced them. "That's not all. I am gay, and my mate is Troy, the Omega." He stated, everyone breaking out in angry whispers.
"Everyone will respect your new Alpha, or you will be punished." Drew spoke, louder and angrier than before. Angry glares from the teenage girls were sent my way, making me cower behind Drew's back. I heard snickers from everywhere as the pack members watched me hide behind their Alpha. "Be quiet! I told you, you will show Troy respect because he is also your Alpha." Drew screamed into the microphone. His face was a bright red color, so I set my hand on his clenched fist, attempting to calm him down.
He took a deep breath and turned to face me. He brought his lips to mine for a quick kiss, but I didn't let him pull away. I slipped my tongue in his mouth and wound my arms around his neck, standing on my toes slightly. I felt him sigh into the kiss and he gently, but firmly, held my cheeks in his hands. From the backyard, cheers erupted, along with a few groans of disgust. I didn't care though, but I was happy most of them accepted me as their Alpha.
I pulled away first, my face heated and my breathing heavy. He smiled at before turning to face the crowd again. "Thank you, everyone. We are very grateful that you have accepted us. We also have more good news." He said, his smile never fading. I knew what he was talking about; my pregnancy. I had noticed, that even only after a week, my stomach had grown a bit bigger. Alpha mates gave birth in three weeks to one month.
"First, I will explain that, in order to provide an heir for Alpha, any gender of mate given to the Alpha is able to give birth. That being said, Troy is pregnant!" He told the crowd, pride shining through his words. Everyone froze at first, then broke out in a fit of screaming and cheering. He stood behind me, his hands around me and resting on my stomach. His head was on my shoulder and his smile still shone brightly. His blue eyes were twinkling with happiness and i blushed.
This was why I love him.
