"Dad can I please play with Five and the others?" I ask that question practically every single day hoping to hear a different answer than the same one I typically hear.
"No, Number Seven. They don't have time to play some childish games with you, they're training." I looked up at him with a disappointed face, but he didn't seem to care or look at me back. What's this training? Why is it even important?
"But I can train too! I can do everything they can. I'm just as good as them, maybe even better!" I puffed out my chest trying to look strong and brave. What they do looks like so much fun and I really want to try it. After all, how hard can it be?
He looks down at me for the first time during this conversation. Did I finally get his approval to train? "Listen, Seven. You aren't like your siblings. You don't have any powers, they do. Do you see Number One over there?" I nod. "He can lift the heaviest objects that most people can't even seem to lift. Is there anything outstanding you can do?"
"I can tie my shoes! Isn't that pretty cool?", I smiled and tilted my head. I put my hands on my hips trying to show off as if he couldn't.
"Young Seven, that's not how it works. They have super powers. I'm afraid you don't. Training is just too dangerous for you." He had a strong, yet quiet tone when he spoke.
"But what does that mean? I can't play with them?" I felt a little hurt. Am I not as good as the others?
"It means your just ordinary, nothing more. You have no powers. I don't want to have this conversation with you anymore. Now go to your mother, I'd like you to speak with her."

|Five's POV|
I kind of wish Seven could train with us. What even is the point of this training? It's stupid. The only good part about this is watching One and Two argue and threaten to throw legos at each other. Seven is the only person I can talk to without wanting to shoot myself with a nerf gun. I look up to see Seven and dad talking to each other. I hated dad. I may only be five, but I can live without him. I glare at him just to show him how much he irritates me. If I had the option, I'd kashoot him when I have the chance. Then Seven walks out of the room with her head down looking back at dad. He makes me so mad I wanted to comfort Seven, and then kick him in the shin. I knew I'd get in trouble, but I didn't care. I walked out of the room as if nothing happened.
"Five, get back in the room or no dinner!", Dad said. His threats didn't seem to scare me. He just always irritated me and it felt good to walk out.
"I'll pass", I smirked and teleported out of the room. Now where would Seven be..

The house is so huge Seven could honestly be anywhere. Luckily, I can teleport anywhere I want so my job just got ten times easier. My first choice was to of course look in the dining room where we'd all have meals. Sure enough, there she was sitting by Mom. I hid behind one of the curtains just for a peak of what they were saying. I could hide anywhere, thanks to my height. Another perk of being five years old. Seven had tears running down her face the fell next to her bowl that was set for dinner. Mom was the only one actually concerned about feelings. She tried calming Seven down, but it didn't seem to work.
"I understand you're upset, but your father's right", mom said. Okay, maybe she was frustrating. Seven didn't say anything she just looked up. "I get that you're struggling, but you'll just have to get used to it. You're ordinary."
She looked up again and mumbled "Ordinary."
"I'm sorry what was that Seven?"
"I hate that word", her tone raised.
"Seven are you okay?", Mom asked with a concerning tone.
Seven just stared at the her tupperware with a blank face. Then, the bowl just breaks. Not just a crack, the whole thing breaks with shards of glass flying everywhere. How did it happen? I'm so confused.
"Oh my god", I whisper.
