My girls and I go to the football field and we see some cheerleaders on the field. We put our bags on the bleachers.

"Hi, we're here tryouts." I say to one of the cheerleaders.

"Okay, you can chill for a little bit until 3:30." She says and we go to the bleachers to sit down.

"Look the football team is coming out." I say and all jog to the field.

I look for jersey 24 and I find him in the back.

"Where's Devin?" Mercedes teases me.

"He's right there. Where's William?" I say and she gets silent. Ariel and I laugh.

"Ya'll annoying." She says and goes on her phone and Ariel and I do the same.

I go on FaceBook and like a couple of things on my NewsFeed. I decide to go to camera and put the Chrome filter.

"Lets take a selfie." I say to them. They quickly pose for the picture and I do the same.

After I take a couple of pictures I chose one where we all look good then I post it on Facebook. I quote it as 'Cheer Tryout with ma girls' and I tag them in it. I quickly get 5 likes after I post it.

I click my phone off as I see some more girls coming. I tell Ariel and Mercedes to get up and we walk off the bleachers.

"Alright now if you didn't know, I am Ivanna the captain." Ivanna says.

Everybody has been put in spots already. There are alot of girls here for tryouts. Atleast 30 of them.

"This is Jessica the stunt Captain." Ivanna says pointing to Jessica. Jessica raises her hand.

"Now we take Cheer very seriously so that means no slacking. We are here to be the best we can be and to cheer. So today you will be learning to two cheers and a dance. You will learn it, perfect it, and perform it to us." Ivanna says. She continues to ramble about what is expected.

After an hour and a half, I have to cheers and dance down pack. Ariel and Mercedes have it to. We practice it to ourselves and I see Ivanna watch us. When I notice she is I start to dance with my all.

From the corner of my eye I can see her nodding her head in agreement.

"Alright guys it's time to show us the cheers and dance." Jessica says.

"You three come here." Ivanna says pointing to us. We come to the middle.

I shake off all my nervousness and breath in and out. I can do this.

After everybody is finished Ivanna and Jessica pick the people. I cross my fingers and pray I get a spot.

I look around me and there are only 4 people left. Mercedes and Ariel have been picked already. The suspense is killing me.

"..And you." Ivanna says pointing to me. I scream inside but I stay calm on the outside.

"Alright, that's it." Jessica says and the remaining girls sigh.

"Ok so, there is practice everyday including Saturdays. After School at 3:30 and 10:00 on Saturdays." Ivanna says.

"Our actual practice begins tomorrow. Be early, and no slacking off." Jessica says.

Everybody begins to leave and me my girls grab our stuff.

"So where are we going now?" Ariel asks.

"I don't know. You guys wanna hang out at McDonalds?" I offer.

"Okay" Mercedes answers.
