Hinata's POV

"Finally.. it was home time. I somehow can't stand the thought of seeing Naruto-kun with Sakura.." I sighed, gently shaking my head. I gripped on my bag and exited the school. I walked home alone today, since Hanabi tagged along with Neji-san and TenTen's little "hangout".

Kiba and Shino already went too. I sighed, letting the cool breeze blow through my long raven hair. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. I pulled it out of my pocket, reading a long message sent from Neji-san. "Oh boy.."

I chuckled, he always sent me these long messages whenever I had to walk alone telling me to be safe. I kept walking as I read his message, suddenly bumping into someone's chest. I thankfully fell on my bum and grabbed my phone that fell on the ground.

"Sorry Hinata! Didn't see you there!" A voice of a man's raspy voice reached out to me, chuckling. "Hold on.. I recognize this voice.." I slowly opened my eyes, seeing a blonde haired boy staring me down with his ocean blue eyes as he offered me a hand.

My cheeks began to burn up as I froze, not knowing what to do next. "I-I.." I couldn't think straight, thoughts racing through my head. Naruto giggled, suddenly grabbed my hand and gently pulled me up. "Look. I know things are a bit awkward between us.." He said as I didn't speak nor move.

"But.. I still want us to be good friends, okay Hinata?" Naruto added, giving me a smile. "O-Okay.." I rapidly nodded, feeling my cheeks burn. "Be more careful for me, okay Hinata?" He said, patting my head. "For.. him?" I quickly looked up at his hand then back to him.

"Alright then. See you tomorrow, Hina!" Naruto said, waving me good bye as he walked away with a smile. "H-Hina..?" I quietly muttered, standing there. "Only my girl-friends call me that.. along with Neji-san, Kiba, Shino, and Hanabi call me by my nickname.." I thought, feeling my face turn red.

I walked under one of the cherry blossom trees, sitting myself down as I placed my bag down beside me. "I.. can't believe that just happened.." I placed my hands on my cheeks as my lips quivered.

"I-I'm suddenly falling for him.. all over again.." I placed my head down as I hugged my knees. "This is.. very bad.."  I deeply sighed, looking up at the pink leaves. "I don't want to get my feelings hurt.."
