Hinata's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, the light hitting my eyes. "Where am I.." I quietly muttered, placing an arm over the light that shone in front of me. "Ah, Hinata. You're awake." A mans raspy voice said. I widened my eyes, turning my head.

"N-Naruto-kun?!" I sat up, my face suddenly heating up. "Yo." He smiled, gesturing a hand up. I placed a hand on my head, still feeling a bit lightheaded. "I brought you to the infirmary since you fainted." Naruto said, leaning over as he placed a hand on my forehead.

"You were steaming hot you know." He stated, chuckling as he placed his hands on his thighs. I fluttered my eyes, gulping as I felt my cheeks burn up. "N-Not in that way!" Naruto said, waving his hands around.

I nodded, smiling a bit. "..Thank you for taking care of me.." I said, slowly getting off the bed. "You'd better be careful, alright?" He said, helping me up. I gulped, feeling my palms sweat. "I-I don't want to cause you too much trouble.." I stated.

"Huh? You aren't though, it's alright. I don't mind helping you." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. I nodded, bowing. "T-Thank you.." I said, standing back up straight. "I'll be going back now.." I stated, grabbing my bag. "Oh, schools already over." Naruto said, also grabbing his bag.

I froze. "..It is..?" I muttered. "Did I really faint for that long?" I told myself, turning around. "I'm s-sorry for making you skip class!" I said, looking down in guilt. "Hey hey, like I said I don't mind." He said, grinning.

"B-But.." I slowly looked up at him. "Take it as an apology from me." Naruto said, lifting his shoulders up a bit with a smile. "Ap..ology?" I repeated, straightening myself up. "You know.. for rejecting you.." He said, scratching the back of his neck.

I gripped on my bag, gulping. "I-It's alright.. it doesn't really matter." I stated, sighing. "Say, why don't I make up for rejecting you hm?" Naruto blurted out with a smile. "..What?" I asked, examining his face as a blush crept onto my face.

"Y-You don't need too! I don't.. want to be a burden to you or anything.." I said, placing my hands behind my back. Naruto placed a hand on my shoulder smiling. "Oh Hinata, stop doubting yourself! I swear everything will be fine, just leave it to me!" He stated, giving me a thumbs up.

"So, what do you say?" Naruto asked, hands on his hips as he smiled. I looked up at him, my pale-white eyes meeting his blue ones. "Don't drown in them Hinata.." I told myself. "O-Okay.." I gently nodded.

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow then, alright? Bye!" He bid me goodbye, dashing out of the infirmary. "G..Good-bye.." I replied, my gaze following him as he left.

The blonde-haired boy suddenly peeked from the door with a smile, "And be careful okay Hinata? See you!" My cheeks rapidly began to burn. I froze, placing my hands on my cheeks. "Okay.." I quietly muttered, staring at the ground, feeling my whole entire body steam up.
