i froze right once i heard those three simple words which had such a  deep meaning.

the tears started to stream down my face, i couldn't hold it in anymore.

"stop lying. you already won the bet so just fuck off and leave me alone from now on."

i started to walk away and i didn't look back.
how could i have fallen for the bad boy.

months before

it was moving day.

my parents wanted to move to la, luckily my best friends convinced their parents to move too.

we left earlier than them though because my parents wanted me to start school over there as soon as possible.

we got on the plane and headed to la, it was quite sad, im gonna miss pittsburgh.
i put on my headphones and listened to music, i was tired and after a while i fell asleep.

"kenzie wake up! we're here already! hello?! kenzie!! mackenzie frances ziegler!!!"

"huh?! im awake!!"

"about time. jesus kenz do you know how hard it is to wake you up?"

"oh shut up i get it from you."

"whatever hurry up and lets go."

we got off the plane and did the usual, got our bags, got starbucks, and headed to our new house.

on the car ride there I just listened to music and looked out the window.

it was honestly so beautiful here.

the streets were kinda busy since it is la.

the sun was rising and I got a good view of it, it was beautiful.

after what felt like forever we arrived to the house.

I was in my room unpacking when my mom called me,

"kenzie, sweetie can you come down here real quick?" I walked downstairs and my parents were standing in the living room.

"whats up?"

"well we just got a call and we need to travel for business."

"oh okay so how long are we gonna go for so I can pack enough clothes?"

"well heres the thing sweetheart."

"what?" my parents looked at each other.

"we want you to settle down and start school so you're staying here."

"wait... so i get to stay here with maddie?"

"maddie is going with us."
