(10) Why?

After Charlie and Campbell left James said "Sit down son.." 

Bucky pulled her behind him to sit at the bar top. "Now I want to know why Coach Cooper has it out for you son." James said

"I don't know like ever since I started practice me and the guys like to talk and joke around the locker room. We talk about music sex parties motocross the game if any of us talk about it and he says he deems us as the rough boys of the team. And when Campbell told us that she had moved in all of us couldn't wait to meet this girl that is the coach's daughter. And the first day I met Bristol and I walked up to her and said hi he was right behind me saying he was going to bench me if I laid one hand on her cause I flirted with her." he said 

"Son.. do you blame him. If that was me when it came to your sister I would be the same way protective. You like to bounce from girl to girl and ride fast and play hard. And I know son that this last year hasn't been easy on you and you have been doing things to cope with everything but getting in hot water with you coaches. Now explain this to me.. if you thought that you had something I had hope that you would come to me son we have been very open with each other." James said as he held up the paper. 

Bucky looked down "Um Bristol told me a few months ago that in order for me to impress her the first thing I had to was to get myself tested even if I use condoms. I said something I shouldn't of said and she pushed me away. And when she left to go visit family in Texas I really missed her so I clleaned up the barn and um I had grandma take me to the health department and got myself tested for everything it was very awkward having some one that I don't know look at my dick and I never want to do that again. After that I cut up my fake ID I turned in my racing card at the motocross association as well." he said 

James walked over and hugged him. 

"You scared me son.." James said

"I'm sorry.." he said 

He pulled away and said "now what would you two like for breakfast.. and by the way I'm Dr James Barnes." as he shook Bristol's hand

"Bristol Cooper." she said 

"Dad do we have any bacon " Bucky said 

"Yeah we do.." he said and he started to make them breakfast.

She went to bathroom and she stopped in the hallway when she seen pictures. Bucky came to find her "hey baby.." he said as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. 

"Hey.. who is this.." she said 

"That's my mom... and my sister." he said 

"Where are they.." she said 

"Last year while I was away for spring break with my dad and my brothers we went to Lake Tahoe for a fishing trip. We had to leave early cause they were hit as they were leaving the grocery store. They hit my little sister's side and the car flipped my sister was killed instantly and my mom was alive at the scene but by the time they got her to the hospital she was gone." he said with tears rolling. 

She looked down..

"Bristol.." he said as he wiped tears then lifted her chin.

"Hey it's okay I'm fine.. " he said

"No I.. um the reason why I had to move here was because my mom was killed in a car accident while I was at cheer practice last summer. My step dad didn't have any legal custody papers drawn up so I had to come here. It killed her instantly cuase they hit her side and snapped her neck." she said 

"Oh baby.." he whispered as he hugged her. 

"Breakfast.." James yelled. 

Bucky wiped her face and kissed her. Then he picked her up and wrapped her legs she laughed as he carried.

"Um James she's got two legs" James said as he sat her in her chair. 

"I'm gonna let you stay a little longer Bristol and go on to work. He's got his four wheeler and his grandma if you need to go home." James said

"Okay.." she said 

"Bye James.. call your grandmother and I'm on call tonight so you'll be alone." he said 

"I know dad thanks." he said 

Bristol looked at him Bucky felt her eyes on him as he ate his pancake. He slowly turned his head and said "What.." 

"If your dad is a doctor.. where are your brothers.." she said 

"Oh my brother Lincoln is away at college in California and the other is at college in Alabama." he said

"So who watches like when you have a school.." she said

"I sat my alarm and I ride this big yellow thing called a bus." he said 

She gasped "Don't you get smart with me." she said

"Well you were the one that asked a dumb question." he said with a smile. 

She chased him to the sink. He turned around and kissed her. "We are alone mmm let's go back to bed so I can make love to you again." he said as he interlaced their hands. 

"I would like that .." she said 

"Yeah?' he whispered as they started to walk backwards

"Yeah.." she whispered

She jumped in his arms and they went up to his room James came home to find them asleep in Bucky's bed with more used condoms on the floor. He shook his head and went on to bed.
