Hold on Tight (Ronnie Banks love story)

Family First

I know I had sex with Ronnie and I'm not even mad at myself. I felt as if I deserved it.  It was for the last time and its a guarantee ill never do it again. Hopefully. I look over at the clock and its 1:30 p.m. I gotta go check on the baby. As soon as I walked in she started yelling at me. I so understood why. This means shes hungry. 

"I'm sorry baby." 

She looked away so I'm guessing shes upset with me. I would be too if someone left me for a nap and no food when i woke up. What kind of world is this? Anyway I made her favorite , Chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese with a side of fruit. 

"Pineapple?" she said excited

"Pineapples!!!"  I said puting down the bowl. 

She just loved them. After a few minutes of TV and a few hours of playing she was out. She sleeps like she has a job. But its OK with me. I'm glad she doesn't know Ronnie is here because she would get use to seeing him everyday. I don't need her running around saying Dada and looking for him. Ill end up lying to her and I never wanna do that , so its plan outta site outta mind. 

I went back in my room and saw Ronnie sleeping so peaceful. But it was time to leave. 

"Ronnie wake up." I said shaking him

"No 5 more Min's!" 

"No get up now." I said slapping his butt

"Fine I'm up. What do you want?" 

"I want you out my house please."

"Why cant I stay?" 

"Please stop asking me all these dumb questions. You know you cant stay here."

"OK then. Can i have a kiss goodbye?"

"No get out!" 

"Well can you at least walk me to my car?"

"I guess I can."

It was a beautiful day in California. 

"I think we should take em to a water park." Ronnie said

"All three of us go?" 

"Nah just the two of us." 

"Well I don't mind doing that. I think she will really like that."

"Well lets call it a date" he said

"No more like family outing." 

"Whatever you say Erika Banks." He said winking at me and getting in his car 

Ugh like he knows how to press my buttons and annoy me. But I've grown use to it so its whatever. 

Later that day

It was also really hot in California too. We arrived at the water park. 

"Mommy look!" Emery said pointing to the big slide. 

"Oh I see."

"Can I get on dat?"

"Your not old enough yet sweetie."

She look disappointed so I was gonna make sure she would have just as much fun on the rides her age. We parked and Ronnie took her from me. But it was fine he needed to spend time with her. He does have more than one kid. Also Emery does not know she has a brother. I don't even wanna except it, But to grow I must. One day she'll know. 

"We shouldve invited Derek." I said 

"I did. He also brought a friend." 

"Aw really?" 

I'm really happy he got him a friend. It makes me feel so much better because I don't want him to be alone all the time. Even Tiffanys mom said he should find someone. So good for him. Joyce is a little older than emery so she'll be 1 in a few months. Their growing so fast and I don't really like it. We saw Derek and his friend from a distance. She kinda looks like Tiffany in a way which is strange. 

"Hi Emery!" Joyce said giving her a hug.

I just had to take a picture. 

"Hi Im Stephanie" she said giving me a big smile and putting out her hand

"Hi I'm Erika, nice to meet you." I said shaking her hand back 

I went over to Derek and gave him a hug then Joyce. She was beautiful and everything about her made me happy. Tiffany is so alive. We paid to get in and we kinda separated. The guys took the girls and i got a chance to talk to Stephanie. 

"so how long have you known Derek?"

"A few months. He never brought me around because he was nervous to bring a girl around Joyce."

"I understand , but I'm glad I finally got to meet you. I said with a smile. 

"Same here! I really need a friend." 

"Well it looks like you found someone. "

"Thanks Erika!" she said giving me a tight hug 

Im glad she feels excepted. After talking and getting to know each other we decided to get in the water. It felt really good on my body. Like some type of stress was lifted off me. 

"You look like a model right now." Ronnie said 

"Thanks." I said shyly looking down. 

I honestly have mix feelings about being with Ronnie. Like sometimes I wanna be mad at him and I just cant. Like right now i cant seem to wanna leave him alone. I wish he would disappear. 

"Ronnie why do you do that?"

"Do what?"

"You make me feel like you love me and then you just.. I don't know. I'm ready to go."

"First of all we just got here and I do love you. Ill always love you. I just mess up everything and I'm really sorry. I don't even want a divorce. I wanna make it work."

"Mommy!" Emery called out

"we will talk later." 

After playing and having a ball it was time to go. I had a great time with everybody. I had a really good time being around my family. Something I always wanted.  No matter had bad everything else seemed to be seeing my daughter smile made it worth it.
