Dear diary,
Today is the day. The last day of school. My dad told me he'd have a surprise waiting for me at home so I'm waiting for the last of homework, teachers, and drama to be over... graduating of course, is what I'm scared of the most. My dad thinks I'll be fine and shouldn't worry about anything.

He says, "You shouldn't be worried of the most important day of your life." But, I don't understand that. Is that a bad thing? I stopped writing for a moment and thought I don't know, I can't really focus right now, I can feel the grass gliding on my arm as the wind pushes my hair back gently. I sighed as I closed my diary, I grabbed my book bag and slung it on one shoulder and walked to my car. I got inside and looked at the view just one last time.

I realized this will be the last time I see the view before college. I remember my mom taking me here for apple picking. The view... the view is still speechless. This place is a place where I can focus on my diary and worried problems. No one understood this place other than my mom. I stared at my mirror, "Well, she's not here to tell me anymore." I said as I made a frown.

I started the car and drove to school. A few minutes later, I arrived at school and of course, I keep my diary in my car. I put my hair up in a messy bun and being to walk inside. I'm walking in with my platinum blonde hair in a messy bun, a tied up dark red shirt, platinum blue ripped jeans, and dark brown timberland boots. Girls get jealous of my clothes and looks but, it doesn't bother me.

I wouldn't call myself popular or an outcast... I'd say I'm more in the middle but, the popular girls try to be my friend. I'm those kind of girls that go to a coffee shop and drink a lot of coffee and just sit on a sofa all day and read. I wouldn't say I'm a nerd... I'd say I'm more of a young librarian. I walk into school and see my ex boyfriend... ew! Why won't he grow a pair already?

"Hey Madeline, it's the last day of school and I'm throwing a party, you're always invited." "Look, Justin, I already told you, I'm not into you anymore... we..." and I froze.

Justin and I have dated for almost two years. Complications got into the way and that's what broke us up. I've been invited to all of his parties and I never showed up to any of them. Justin's still in love with me and I just don't feel the same way about him. I sighed and looked at fingers as they make their way in my pocket. I looked back at Justin and continued to talk,

"We... we just can't happen. College is coming up and we are going our separate ways and I can't have you in my life if I don't want you to be apart of it."

I said as he frowned and left him without saying anything. Justin walked off and that was the last time I saw him in school. A few hours later, school was over in a blast and everyone was ready to hit up Justin's house for the party he is throwing. Justin and I have been the school's finest couple, now, since we aren't an item anymore, rumors spread quicker than fire around Mountlane High School. I just wish people can learn to keep their mouths shut and worry about their own problems.

So I'm walking to my locker and from the corner of my eye I can see Justin talking to his friends. One of his friends put their hand over their mouth and slightly looked at me. Of course, it would surprise me if they wasn't talking about me. I looked at Justin's friends and shook up my head, closed my locker door, slung my bag around my arm and went to my car. I tried to start my car but, it wouldn't start. I tried to start it again but, it wouldn't start.

"Well this isn't good. It looks like I'll be late for dinner."

I said as I rolled my eyes and searched for my phone in my purse. I started to text my dad and told him what happened to my car. Hours pasted, I could see the sun setting behind the school.
