It was the day of the date Kelsie was in her bathroom getting herself ready she did her make up and hair. Then she went into her bedroom and put her outfit on and her heels. She checked everything over as she put her jewelery on in her full length mirror.

Bucky fixed his hair and put on some cologne and fixed his collar on his black polo shirt. He put his boots on "Alright Natasha let's see what you got for me. Hopefully it's been then what I have had had." he said to himself.
He grabbed his keys and helmet and phone. He got on his bike revved it up some then took off to the restaurant. Kelsie wasn't to far behind him in a cab.He got there before her and went ahead and got the table.
Natasha sent him a text "Blonde big blue eyes .. that's all you get Barnes."
He smiled and replied back with "Thanks that doesn't narrow it down.." he hit send just as he waitress said "Mr Barnes.. your date is here."
He stood up as she walked over to the table. "Wow.." he thought to himself.
"Hi I'm Kelsie Miller." she said with a big smile.
"James Barnes or Bucky as everyone calls me." he said
"Nice to meet you James.." she said as they both sat down.
"Nice to meet you." he said
They ordered their drinks and food "So you work with Natasha.." he said
"Yeah.. I also know her because she Wanda and Hope were my college room mates." she said
"Are you from NY.." he said
"Oh no.. I'm originally from Boston but I came here to go to NYU and after 8 years of schooling and been leaving here the last two years working with Natasha NY feels more like home." she said
"So you moved here when I was leaving." he said
"Yeah.. Natasha told me you were in the military. My ex fiancee was in the military he still is I should say." she said
"You weren't a fan.." he said
"It wasn't that it's just that.. he kept reenlisting and how was I suppose to plan wedding when he kept leaving. So one night while he was in town we had a serious conversation and ended it. We were no longer those kids that though they could take on the world together. What about you Natasha said that you were divorced." she said
"I married my high school sweetheart fresh out of high school. But like you she got tired of waiting around for me and when I came home to surprise her with discharge papers I found her in bed with another man." he said
"Ouch!>" she said
"Yeah.. she was 5 months pregnant with his baby. Said that she had papers drawn up she was just waiting for me to come home so they could serve me with them. So in her mind she wasn't cheating cause she had already checked out of the marriage." he said
"Sounds like it. I may not have liked my ex being in the miliary but I remained faithful to him. Some people are just selfish." she said as she finished off her wine.
They continued to talk about different stuff and split a brownie sundae. He had her sit close to him and he feed her some bites. He paid for dinner then they walked out "So did you drive or am I taking you home or what.." he said
"You can take me home.. I got cab I have this weird thing about blind dates and them knowing where I live." she said
"You feel safer now.." he said
"Yeah.." she said
"What about now?' he said when they stopped at his bike.
"Much better.." she said
He put the helmet on her "Where are we going darlin.." he said
"Brooklyn.." she said
"Perfect.. I live in Brooklyn" he said as he adjust the straps. He pulled out another helmet that was in his side console. He put it on and helped her on behind him " Hold on tight baby." he said as she wrapped her arms around him. He revved it up a few times as he backed out of the parking spot then took back off to Brooklyn.
They arrived at her town house and he walked her up to the door. "You aren't to far from me.. just 5 blocks away." he said
"Good.. " she said
"Second date?' he said
"I would love that." she said as she bit her lip.
They both leaned in and kissed each other. He cupped her cheek as their tongues fought for dominance as he pulled her closer. He pulled away as he broke the kiss "Wow.." he whispered
"Ditto.." she whispered.
"I'll call you in the morning." he said
She smiled and said "Okay.."
"And we can set up that second date." he said
"Definitely.." she said as she started to unlock her door.
He walked backwards after he got off of her stairs. "Good night gorgeous." he said
"Good night James.." she said with a smile and blew him a kiss.
He put his helmet on "Sweet dreams baby' he said then he started up his bike.
"Sweet dreams." she said then she went inside and leaned against her door.
"Oh thank you Natasha.." she said with a smile as she went upstairs to her bedroom. She felt like a teenage girl all over again as she laid on her bed.

She felt her phone buzz in her wristlet. "I can't wait to see you again gorgeous. I'm gonna have to start coming with Steve when he brings Natasha lunch again." he sent her as he walked up to the elevator to his loft.
He then texted Steve a thousand smiley face emojis.
"I'm gonna have to start being at the desk when you do." she replied back to his text as she started to get ready for bed.
"Good night doll baby. Get some rest I'll call you in the morning." he replied back with some kissy emojis.
She smiled then plugged up her phone and went to bed.
