(4) So..How Was Last Night?

The next morning Kelsie woke up with a big smile on her face she went downstairs turned on her Keurig  as she was stirring in her coffee there was at a knock at her. She looked at the time on her watch. She walked to her door as she drank her coffee she smiled "James" she whispered as she saw him through the glass. 

She opened the door "Well good morning to you" she said 

"Good morning gorgeous I brought you breakfast.." he said 

She smiled "Thank you.. I didn't even hear you pull in. " as she let him in.

"Because when it's cold I drive my truck." he said as he shut the door behind him. 

They went into her kitchen she sat up on her counter and started to eat her biscuit and drink her coffee. He stood in between her legs "Why do you have such a big townhouse for just you.." he said

She smiled "My parents bought it for me as graduation present from under grad school. It was suppose to be where me and my ex were to start our new life which turned into my new life. So when we ended things I told them this was a mistake but they told me that it was already done so I have made it work for just me. I have this big kitchen which I love and because I was in nursing school. I turned one of the bedrooms into my homework space and the other bedroom became storage then of course the master bedroom. It's what do you guys call yours.." she said

"Bachelor pad.." he said 

"Well this for the most part is my bachelorette pad.." she said 

He let out a chuckle "What about you..do you still live in your place or did you move out.." she said 

He sat up next to her on the counter. "I originally stayed but then it was hard being that place. Even with new furniture that I was staying at the fire house more then the place. So I moved out I started to rent out a loft space that's basically a studio apartment. " he said 

"Well that's good thankfully he never stayed here very much. " she said 

He looked at her they kissed as he cupped her cheek their tongues entangled.  She climbed on to his lap without breaking the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her as she straddled him "Mmm baby." he whispered 

They were wrapped up in each other as they continued to make out in her kitchen. He started to pull her closer as he squeezed her ass they both stopped when they heard beeping their foreheads were together. 

She looked at her watch then he pulled out his pager "It's me.. I've gotta go baby as much as I would rather be here with you in this moment." he said 

"I have to get ready for work soon.." she said 

He smiled at her "I'll come see you if I'm done by lunch okay.. I'll bring you lunch." he said

She smiled at him then kissed him. "Mmm " he moaned and wrapped her legs around him as he slid off the counter as they both laughed as he carried her to the front door. He put her down "I'll see you later gorgeous." he said 

"Bye.." she said they shared a quick kiss then he left to head to work. 

After Kelsie got herself ready for work she headed towards the city to work. She walked in with a big smile and clocked in. Natasha said "hey!" 

"Good god you scared me" she said as she jumped. 

"So... how was last night.." Nat said as she leaned against the desk. 

"It was ah-mazing! He is so damn gorgeous and an amazing kisser. You could of led with he drives a motorcycle cause that was amazing ride home. Then he showed up this morning with breakfast where we talked more and had a make out session in my kitchen." she said 

"Second date?' Natasha said 

"Oh yeah most definitely." she said

And across town Bucky and his guys were putting out a small apartment building fire. On the way back Steve said "So.. how did it go last night?' 

"She's amazing Steve. Gorgeous and incredible kisser. " he said 

"So another date.." Steve said 

"Yup.." he said 

"See.. told you that it would be good for you." Steve said 

"Yeah..I surprised her this morning with breakfast when I got the page we were in the middle of a make out session" he said 

Steve shook his head "Doesn't surprise me." 

Later that day Bucky came in with Steve they both had lunch from Chipotle. Kelsie was in the NICU nursery fixing a baby's tube. Natasha said "Come here Buck.." 

Bucky looked at her confused but followed her. He saw a blonde in pink scrubs "Shh little princess I know you don't like this but this is how we get big and strong.." Kelsie whispered as the less than 3 hour old baby girl cried.

She finished the tube filled out the chart. She turned around and jumped when she seen them.

"Stop doing that Natasha." she said in a whispered.

Natasha and Steve walked away as Bucky pulled her closer "You are amazing you know that.." he whispered as they walked out to the nurse's station. He tucked some blonde hair that had fallen out of her braid. "I'm assuming that because you asked for more coffee that you work all night.."he said

"Yeah.. " she said 

"Well I do too.. so we will be close." he said 

She smiled "we are always close to each other." she said

"True.." he said 

"Buck we gotta head back.. Sam said another call came in..

"Gotta love when it gets cold" he said then he kissed Kelsie. 

"I'll call you later baby." he said 

"Okay.. thanks for lunch" she said 

He blew her kiss and she blew one back once they were gone she continued to eat her burrito. Natasha said "Oh my god.." 

"What.. is something wrong with your burrito.." she said

"No.. but something is clearly wrong with you two.." Nat said..

"Why.." she said

"Cause I've known Barnes practically my whole life and he's always moved fast with a girl and you moved pretty fast in college. And I can tell that you two didn't sleep together last night." Natasha said 

"Shut up.. I have patients to check on." Kelsie said as she threw her food away. 

"You didn't..oh my god.. I'm texting Steve right now." Natasha said 

"Do you honey.." she said as she walked away.
