Annie and Asher were facing each other and there was a moment of complete silence. She took a step towards him and just like that, he pulled her even closer. I was holding my breath, praying with all my might that what happened next wouldn't happen. Asher bent down a little, as he was half an inch taller than her and kissed her.
I had seen them kiss before but this time, it was different. There was this passion that I had never seen before. Each time I saw them together, my heart broke a little. But this time, it broke so hard that I could almost hear the breaking. I started walking away fast. I got to my room and months of anguish just channeled through while I sobbed. At that perfect moment, Sofie and Joshua walked in.
They both have known how much I care for Asher but even then, they couldn't have anticipated this. I was a mess. My eyes were red and puffy , y were streaming down my face and my hair were disheveled. "What happened , Peyton?" asked Joshua.
Sofia and Joshua Hugged me and after a while. Everything got quiet and I interrupted the silence."Asher is completely in love with Annie , isn't he? I saw them together, he looked at her like she was his whole world." Sofia knelt by my side," Peyton, I am so sorry. I know that nobody loves Asher like you do but we can't change the way he feels about Annie.Even if she leaves him, he will be heartbroken.
They both comforted me for some time. After that, I asked to be left alone. I had to get Annie out of the picture.
